Why the spinning graphic? Calif. AG Brown can't decide what to do next? He was for "universal healthcare" himself at one point.

State Sen. Tom Harman, R-Huntington Beach, sent the letter to Brown.

"The federal government is limited in what it can and can't do by the Constitution," Harman said, calling the measure a violation of the commerce clause.

Brown issued a statement saying he had instructed his deputies to review the claims made by the senators.

However, Brown, a Democrat and former two-term governor, noted that all but one of the 13 attorneys general who vowed legal action were Republicans.

"Health care is not the place, with people's lives at stake, to engage in poisonous partisanship," Brown said in the statement.

True, but the Senate has passed a 10th Amendment protection already and we are rallying at the House tomorrow. The only hang up is that we have a Dem Gov. and AG. Bredesen came out early against Obamacare though

And barring banks from issuing student loans?? How is THAT constitutional?

According to Amity Shlaes, author of a recent book on the Great Depression titled “The Forgotten Man”, a number of laws, mandates, etc., that had been rammed through by FDR and his congress were, in fact, declared to be simply unconstitutional. That didn’t stop them from implementing them first and doing quite a bit of damage to some people and businesses before SOTUS put a stop to it. It also didn’t stop them from thinking up new unconstitutional laws.

We should expect the same from zero and his congress. Whether or not zerodeathcare is killed as unconstitutional, they will continue to think up, pass, and ram through, lots of other laws, claiming “the people have a right to this, that, or the other thing.”
