@Abbott2010 I am organizing a conference call tonight for AGs across the country. We will discuss our litigation strategy...

This is what Greg Abbott actually posted on Twitter.
You could have posted this, or at least noted what it was that he was discussing.
But don't thank me: I'm happy to have done your posting work for you.

I believe Bill McCollum of Florida was the first AG to say his state would sue the govt if healthcare passed.

Just got off the AG conference call. We agreed that a multi-state lawsuit would send the strongest signal. We plan to file the moment Obama signs the bill. I anticipate him signing it tomorrow. Check back for an update at that time. I will post a link to the lawsuit when it is filed. It will lay out why the bill i...s unconstitutional and tramples individual and states rights.

What was the Tweet regarding. Sorry just came home and heard we are all Communists now.
Thanks.
Yeah, right. I’m sure People’s Republick of MD and its AG Gansler are drooling at the thought of suing Obama&Friends.</sarc off
I want to see this SOB’s Long Form BC and all of his records that have thus far been sealed to public scrutiny.
We need to see his travel records and under what pseudonym he traveled under and what nationality he claimed at various times in his life.
A completely sane people would just declare open season on the narco scum, and fix a bounty for every head.
The problem would vanish overnight.
Hope to close on a house in Haltom City, TX on April 8th.
You're welcome. Glad I was of some help.
Big time - if/when the time comes I guess I’ll have to deal with not being ~10 minutes from an ocean - not a problem.
There is no way in hell we want a Constitutional Convention to convene. No. Damn. Way.
LOL - I’ve actually been there once. My dad took a wrong turn once (one of the few times) and my mom asked him where we were. He said, “Uncertain.” She thought he was kidding until we turned around and were driving back out of town. (For some reason, it seemed like it was only a mile or two -bu that was back in the early 80s)
Notwithstanding another reply you got about the Roman fasces, please note they have been on the US dime since the design was changed 60 years ago to put FDR on it.
if we leave the union, let’s take OK, MS, AL, GA, TN, and some of FL(everything west and including DisneyWorld), lol...I don’t want to lose my DVC vacation points and I really love visiting the southern states :)
They’re talking about amendments.
I don’t think so at all. Read their text again:
“I believe it requires 2/3 of the states to convene a convention to propose amendments and then 3/4 of the states approval for an amendment to become a part of the constitution. A real high hurdle to overcome but possibly it is time to try.”
Thanks for the link. Interesting - Utah, Arizona and Virginia have all passed legislation through both houses. Idaho has made it law. Texas and Wisconsin are both showing no activity - yet. What’s with Montana - nothing?
There IS one small piece of CA I would be willing to give up if we could put all the Democrats there, permanently. Let them form their own country and govern only themselves.
I seem to remember that we used to call that place “The Rock”, LOL.
