Despite reports on MSNBC that pro-life Democrat Bart Stupak, D-Mich., will vote for the bill, he remains a "no" vote.
I just talked to Stupak in the basement of the Capitol as he walked passed a throng of protesters calling for members to vote against the bill.
"I'm still a no vote. There is no final agreement." Stupak said.
Stupak and other pro-life Democrats are in negotiations with the White House on a deal that would involve President Obama signing some kind of executive order that would ban federal funding of abortion under the health care bill.
"We are waiting until we have an agreement with not just the White House but also the Speaker and others," Stupak said. "There is no agreement. It's still a work in progress. I think we have work to do. "

This is pure horsesh*t!! If all of this stuff needs to be done today, why in the hell are they trying to vote tonight? I know they don’t wanna come home for Easter recess and that makes it even more infuriating.
Executive Orders are used to declare, “When the Sun Crosses The Equator” Day. Not for something as serious as an unborn child’s life.
Don’t fall for it Stupak. You should know that an executive order striking a line item in a bill would be deemed an unconstitutional act if challenged in court(and you can bet your bottom dollar NOW would be more than happy to be the villain).

He is not a “firm” no. He is an about-to-be yes.
He says he is waiting for Pelosi and others to agree to the deal he and Obama reached. If Obama has agreed, Pelosi will follow.
An “executive order” is just a fig leaf.
Stupak turns out to be a hypocrite and tyrant.
If Pelosi does a deal with Stupak the feminazi's will blow up the bill.

Hey Stupak, how many babies are you willing to kill today with your YES vote? Planned Parenthood predicts 400,000 additional abortions if this crappy bill passes. The blood of 400,000 babies will be on YOUR hands Stupak.

As you can see, I am not in your district. But seeing your face on the news, like you're some big national hotshot, makes me write to you letting you know that I am a big shot too.
If you don't vote NO on this health monstrosity, I will personally take part in many "money bombs" as we move toward November 2010. My prayer is that a yes vote by you will be an unemployment pink slip after the MIDTERMS. Heck you have been there for over 35 years. Time for you to retire. Just thought I'd let you know what some real Americans are thinking and we are watching.

With Pelosi’s Approval ratings in the teens, its still amazing to me that she is still surrounded by other congress critters on her way to the Floor a few minutes ago.
