on drudge;
“OVERHEARD: Walking into Capitol this morning on phone, Speaker Pelosi tells Hoyer: ‘Steny, we have to get to 217. None of these members wants to be the deciding vote’... Developing...”
Mark Levin is my favortie radio host and has been a favorite of mine since I learned to know about him and Landmark Legal. It is great to listen to someone who understands the law and how it relates.
Years ago someone here asked if duct tape could patch a bullet hole in a TV screen. LOL
It may be time for a "Tar and Feather" party. Tar the creeps that vote for this and cover them with the feathers of shame. Ride them out on a rail in November.
I fear Stupak will fall for it..He’s a dim ..Prayers continue.
I’ve just switched over to ABC- ready to rumble!
Republicans are going to vote against Stupak amendment because their constituents know they are pro-life and this is one chance in million to kill the bill. They understand how bad this bill is and the focus on abortion is a side issue as they understand Obama and his promises are not worth a thing.
I have not had a lot of faith in thinking that Stupak or his ilk would "save" anything. I'm not sure if it makes sense or not, but to me it was like hoping that an arsonist, that supposedly loved fish, wouldn't burn down your building because he knew that it had a bowl with a goldfish inside.
Tell Nancy that the way we count it is:
The First Yea, passes the bill,
The Second Yea passes the Bill,
The Third Yea passes the Bill,
The Forth Yea passes the Bill, .
.
.
The passing vote dooms your party.
There is no Stupak amendment. Obama is trying to make a deal with him using an EO.
If the vote is delayed, that will be the reason. They have to pass it by more than one vote.

PER DRUDGE
“tar and feather” doesn’t seem to be enough at this point.
Of course they need more than one vote to pass - otherwise the ads across the fruited plain are too easy: “Congressman So and So was the deciding vote for socialized medicine...” The base will be motivated regardless as will the rest of the populace. We will know who voted for it and every one of them is a target. Yes, I said Target.
That’s even dumber to depend on ZERO.
WE WILL GET THE VOTES
Translation: We’re not done bribing yet
With so far up to 38 potential lawsuits and various other measures being taken by the States, I see a serious delay in implementation. Just need a few good Federal judges to issue a stay. It worked with the Line-item Veto.
None of these members wants to be the deciding vote
If it’s so good for America, who WOULDN’T want to be the deciding vote? Or are they scared of something?
HOLY SMOKES!!!! Karl Rove is tearing these leftists to SHREDS.....
WOW- I have never heard him quite this passionate about anything.
