2 p.m.: The House will debate for one hour the rules of debate for the reconciliation bill and the Senate bill.
3 p.m.: The House will vote to end debate and vote on the rules of the debate.
3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.

Can someone please explain to me why we want so badly to kill babies? No, I can't. But the fact is they can do so if they want. It's just that now they can't wreak havoc on our consciences by forcing us to pay for it.

Today, women in the United States are fighting for their lives. You must fight too! A womans right to have safe and legal abortion is about to be traded away. And they are so transparently stupid. Stupak's amendment does not restrict abortion, provided that women are willing to pay for it themselves. It just stops government funding of it.

I just spoke to someone in Ellsworth’s office for almost 15 min. Very nice man, and patient with me. (ha) Ellsworth decided to vote YES “for the children.” He said he honestly believed that nothing would change for me if this passes. Riiiiight.

As the grandmother of a child that came to us unexpectedly, I can’t imagine my life without him! I am grateful every single day that his mother did not choose to abort him. What a blessing that little boy has been.
