I wouldn’t say the DNC was tricked. They themselves tricked the voters. I don’t believe for a minute they didn’t know their guy wasn’t eligible.
Of course they knew. Pelosi signed the form saying he was qualified for the state ballots and she was there when the congress asked McCain for his birth certificate. These people can’t be in prison long enough IMHO.
I’d prefer charges of treason with duly applicable punishments but I’ll settle for long prison terms.

Pesons not born in the United States, with one possible exception, but acquiring citizenship at birth via statute, are considered "naturalized at birth". Naturalization being the only power to confer citizenship Congress has.
