[history]
KARACHI: Pakistani security forces along with help of US intelligence arrested Abu Yahya Mujahdeen Al- Adam, who is a close associate of Osama Bin Laden. Abu Yahya was arrested on Sunday from an area surrounding the super highway, on the outskirts of Karachi.
Sources confirmed that the arrested militant commander has been shifted to Islamabad for further investigation.
Pennsylvania-born Abu Yahya is a US citizen and assumed to be a commander of foreign militants fighting in Afghanistan against the US. His name is included in the top ten wanted on the CIA list.

I think this IS Adam Gadhan!
I checked the FBI’s list of terrorists and Adam Gadhan has several aliases that list him as “Abu.” Also, one alias in particular lists him as “Yihya Majadin Adams.” The name listed in the press release for this article is spelled “Yahya Mujahdeen Al-Adam.”
Yup, it has got to be Adam Gadhan...

I noticed two separate al-Qaeda experts on C-SPAN over the past couple of months saying that this guy was the new brains behind al-Qaeda. They portrayed him as being much smarter than bin Laden. In fact they said he is so brilliant that he had even analyzed how we can defeat al-Qaeda. Fortunately he was so proud of his analysis that he had to tell everyone:

On October 11, 2006 Gadahn was indicted based on the testimony of the FBI case agent E.J. Hilbert II, in the Southern Division of the United States District Court for the Central District of California by a federal grand jury for the capital crime of treason for aiding an enemy of the United States.
Now...let the Pakis, as we observe, drain every bit of G2 available out of this traitor, and then bring him back here and have a very public execution of his miserable hide.

Talk about the blind squirrel finding an acorn every now and then. lol...I think Dawn just had their facts a little mixed up. Had I done a little more checking, I would have seen Abu Yahya al-Libi was not born in Pennsylvania.

Well .. at the rate Obama is bribing congress people to vote for his garbage legislation .. this bribing of Pakistan would not suprise me.
And .. it makes me wonder if that’s what the “stimulus” money was for .. a slush box for Obama to use to bribe people .. foreign governments ....... because I always wondered why Pakistan suddenly began to help us clean out the AQ militants.
This is interesting info .. and if it’s true .. I hope it can be exposed.

Getting captured in Pakistan will not be very good news for Gadahn. Pakis dont have all the pc-crap to put up with when they talk to detainees.
Gadahn may wish he were home with mommie after the Pakis finish talking to him.

I can’t decide...is this guy a typical tea-party activist anti-government right-wing terrorism type, or is he a freedom-fighter for virtuous, peaceful, love-filled Muslims worldwide who are being persecuted by America, corporations, global warming, the Jooos, and Sarah Palin? I think I’ll tune into the MSM to find out which one of these options is correct!

What I find hard to believe is that this asshat would be considered a Al-Qaeda “leader”.
I just have a difficult time believing that Bin Laden and associates would put whole lot of trust in a young American born moron.

It is great news that he was arrested but for certain he is not Al Qaeda brain and he is not closely associated with Al Qaeda top hierarchy. He was just used as a propaganda tool by Al Qaeda because he is an American.

I totally agree. He was just a propaganda tool used by Al Qaeda terrorists but no way he is an Al Qaeda leader or has any decision power in what Al Qaeda plans or does. However it is great news that he was arrested, we have now one less terrorist.
