President Barack Obama urged Congress Wednesday to vote "up or down" on sweeping health care legislation in the next few weeks, endorsing a plan that denies Senate Republicans the right to kill the bill by stalling with a filibuster. "I don't see how another year of negotiations would help. Moreover, the insurance companies aren't starting over," Obama said, rejecting Republican calls to begin anew on an effort to remake the health care system.

The legislature is discussing perhaps opting out of whatever federal health care system, they wind up passing. It could cost the state $7,000,000 in loss of federal funds.

Mo Freepers need to contact the Governor, and their legislators supporting consolidation and shrinking of state Government, and rejecting the Federal overreach and takeover of health care.(assuming that is your position on the issues).

Just need 60 votes in the Senate to get past the democrat filibuster. Unless we decide to do it on a simple majority. I always said the democrat legislators would have no hesitation at exercising the nukular option, the republicans were idiots not to do it to get good judges on the bench.
The Obamabots would drive off with them to get back to their subprime-mortgaged homes and section 8 housing.
That would work as long as it is a car that is trash so that you don’t even have to pay to get it out of the impound yard.
