Disasters - earthquake, Tsunami, others - happening rapidly now.
Read Matthew 24. There will be earthquakes.....etc.
When we see these events occurring in increasing frequency it is because these are the "birth pangs" that we have been told by Jesus Christ Himself - would happen closer together in time as do the birth pangs of a woman in labor. The closer she gets to giving birth, the worse the birth pangs become and the closer together they come.

If you have asked Jesus to save you - which includes forgiveness of all your sins but it also includes giving you a NEW LIFE IN HIM - then He has done it and you now belong to Jesus.
Ask Him to show you if there is anything else you need to do - not to earn your salvation because you can’t do that - but to follow whatever instructions He has for you!
And, then read the Bible often and ask Him to speak to your heart and mind in whatever passage of the Bible you “land on.”
And He will!
Dog Chapman was just on Fox talking about the events of today and how his Pastor talked to him and told him Hawaii would not have a disaster....many many Christians were praying for Hawaii and California and we need to pray for all this earth and all its peoples...

For the record, although there will be great tribulation in the end times, I certainly don't subscribe to the vision put forth in the Left Behind series about the Rapture, wherein people are 'lifted away' by Christ and leaving others behind to suffer through the events described in the Apocalypse of St. John; what evidence is there to support that Christ has this 'first' second coming?

Can you point out some facts showing where earthquakes are increasing in frequency? There are always earthquakes, everyday, around the world, how is it any different from 200 years ago, or 400 years ago? Just because more are being recorded, doesn’t mean that there are more earthquakes than there were 400 years ago. There are no signs in the heavens, there are no pestilences. I’m not sure that we can say for a fact, that we arein the birth pang period. I for one am not convinced, so show me some convincing evidence. I am convinced that Jesus died for my sins, and I am a believer. But to say that we are in the season of his return is a different matter entirely.

Human nature. Too many people believe irrational things and follow through with those beliefs. Witness communism and blind faith in Imams. Interpret this how you want but my meaning is clear.

I get my catholic views from my wife, she was raised catholic heh. The bible is pretty clear that the believers will be taken in the rapture and that people will be left behind in some pretty horrible circumstances.
I’m not familiar with the left behind series other than having heard of it, I just know I don’t want to be unprepared.
I find it interesting that events repeat themselves over and over, yet few if any of the lead in events have occurred for Christ return that would point to the otherwise routine events being special...

Or go to google.com and do search on Jesus clouds or Jesus in the sky.
and, no, we are not talking about seeing Jesus on a piece of toast.
We are talking about Jesus Christ communicating in many ways to all the world - to reach all those who apart from His intervention are heading straight for the disasters of the Great Tribulation (where millions who are left behind WILL turn to Him during those seven horrible years) and then to an eternal hell (which will happen at the end of the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ who will rule this earth as the King of Kings.
Then will come the Great White Throne judgement and Jesus Himself will be the JUDGE on that day.
All those who stand before Him on that day will be those whose names are not written in the book of Life.
If you do know Jesus, if you have accepted Him as your SAVIOR, ackowledging that you cannot save yourself - b8t that you understand that when Jesus died on that cruel cross He did so to save multitudes from hell - including me and I hope for sure inclulding you!

My father went Home to be with his Lord...one month ago tomorrow. I've cried perhaps 2 times...Why? Because he led HIS life with, as you phrased it, with a morbid fascination of the afterlife... :) ..... he led his life for Christ. He knew his time would come someday, as will each of us reading this thread.
I've not cried because I am SO VERY VERY VERY happy that he's HOME WITH HIS LORD!!! He lived for that moment.
How many of us can say that we're doing that, day by day by day? Or will we mock Him? Will we mock the poster of this thread and the message presented?
If you've made your peace with Jesus, REJOICE! If you've not....why?
