Televised Meeting to talk about healthcare..........
Anybody know who the guy (repub. Sen.?) was giving bambi a bunch of what for at the end of the session. I think he was the guy sitting next to McCain. I would have loved to have heard it. Obama was not pleased.
I suspect the major issue she worked as in-depth on was the oil pipeline and she could talk just as authoritatively on that.
My guess is that Alaska’s such a working class state that she’s used to constituents who are comfortable with generalities more than specifics and she’s still tuning her style to her new audience. I’m a fan of hers, but if I never hear another booster boast from her about the great state of Alaska or platitude about good Americans I’ll be relieved. That’s right, she’s got learn how not to be the Sean Hannity of political speakers.

She remembered her first ever bed bath...this is a funny story that’s politically incorrect.
Mom had to give her first bed bath...she had to give it to a very BLACK woman . (Now don’t go thinkin’ my parents were racist...they were Goldwater Republicans and we all know that Republicans aren’t racist...because we believe ANYONE should be able to succeed and prosper...)
Anyway...Mom was apparently, visibly nervous...and this black woman sensed it...she said, “Honey, you nervous??” And my mom said, “This is the first time I have given a bed bath.”
And the woman said, “Oh, honeychild....don’t worry...they aren’t gonna be able to tell if you get ME clean!”
I like that story.
I worked the front desk of a Trauma Center for five years and I have plenty of opinions about healthcare...but no one asks.
Look, I admire Ryan, Blackburn, and Coburn, and would support any one of them were they nominated. Right now, I support Sarah. When the primaries begin, let the best CONSERVATIVE win.
(Please note my distinctly (sarc)"feminist"(/sarc) point-of-view: I'd love nothing better than to see any of Palin/Bachmann, Blackburn/Palin, Bachmann/Blackburn, etc. All these women possess more testosterone than most of the congressional men...LOL!)

I totally agree with You and Floriduh Voter! This was a Great Day for FREEDOM! The Republicans were prepared and TRUTHFUL and very powerful and Focused! The DEMORATS appeared to have all been up on COKE the night before and their brain matter was flailing out Cow POOP at an Incredible rate! BLIZZARD ALERT!! The RATS with OBOZO came across as Con Artists, Socialists and Bullcrappers with a dearth of actual facts or meaningful Logic!
