So far, Paul Ryan has given the most substantive response during this entire event. An event that is nothing more then a dog and pony show to allow Obama the opportunity to look in charge and cover his butt in front of the American people.
Those Republicans who are actually challenging Obama and the Dems today are doing so in a very constrained environment. Cong Ryan has been the lone standout, thus far.

("In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.")
MSNBC cut away from the summit to show women’s hockey. Remember how MSNBC railed against FOX for cutting away from Obama at the Republican policy retreat?
Someone please nail them on this tonight.

McCain has helped himself today. He has stuck with his argument about the unfairness of giving in to 800,000 Florida residents who get to keep their Medicare Advantage. He keeps saying "health care shouldn't be about geography"! Actually called for a vote (in the room?) on the floor of whether the Florida exemption should be included.
Obama actually followed him by saying "You make a good point. I agree that it is a problem." I started doing the happy dance!

Docs in NY are unionized and have been known to go out on strike. They take to the streets and we get to see what a motley crew they are.
