This is pure Alinsky, Delphi method consensus formation, with Obama as the "facilitator".

The "target" in the Delphi process CANNOT WIN. The entire process is designed to destroy the target.

Not only that, this meeting, which never should have been allowed to take place, erases at one stroke the delicately designed structure of an Executive and bicameral Legislative Branch. These people should not be in the same room with each other, and they should not be discussing each other's business.

If this method is ever repeated, it will be a revolutionary transformation of the government, if the damage is not already done.

The Dem strategy seems to be to keep the focus on anecdotal stories and avoid talking about their plan to take over total control of your health care.

Not a winning strategy for the Dems IMHO. The Republicans are kicking their butts. The Republicans are coming off as adults, the Dems as children. Time to put the adults back in charge.
