ABC News has begun the process of eliminating 300 to 400 positions at the news division by asking employees to participate in a buyout of their services.
In a move that has been rumored for weeks, and coming on the heels of layoffs at CBS News, ABC's cuts are a combination of union and non-union jobs affecting all areas of ABC News.

Tomorrow, Whoopie Goldberg will still be employed at ABC, to be sure. But, the guy who holds the camera she babbles incoherently into may just be looking for a job.
Personally, I'd just as soon watch the cameraman babble incoherently into the camera

I hope that Fox does not hire former ABC and CNN people; let those “reporters” peddle their wares somewhere else. Perhaps Venezuela is hiring?

Where were the ACORN busses outside her house when these layoffees needed them. let's see, 200 x $60,000/yr= $12,000,000...half of them wouldn't have had to have been laid off!
