I hate to beat a dead horse, but I just invited my friend over here to watch the CPAC speech. He is black (and so am I). Not surprisingly, he has been a democrat all his life. I asked him to watch the Glenn Beck speech as a favor to me..he owes me several. It wasn't 20 minutes into the speech when Glenn started talking about being down on his luck and because of his failure he could be there at CPAC..my friend teared up. I'm telling you- I might not have him yet-but eventually I'm going to convert him. At least now he doesn't think Glenn is a racist!
The reason for this post was to tell you all- please send this to your friends even if they are democrats..if they have an open mind and are still thinking for themselves, they will be able to relate to Glenn in this speech.
Thanks to FReeper JoeSeales, here is a good place to watch it in HQ with no ticker or anything on the screen.

This is a good place to watch it, I highly recommend it:
bookmarked for later.
Really?
That’s what you’re worried about?
With everything the Dems and Obama are trying to pass, you’re worried that some homo’s may have been at Beck’s speech?
Wow.
Beckmania.
watch later
Beck would really put the Heebie-Jeebies into them.
It would be funny!
For the most part there is no difference.
The GOP today is the dem party of the 90's
It's the milquetoast Repbublicans that are harming the Conservatives, not GB
Sorry packerboy, you are TOTALLY incorrect...in my humble (and as I have appointed myself as an expert) my expert opinion also!
As was said, one just sucks a little less then the other...I will not vote for a RINO just because he / she had republican after their name.....might as well just come right out and say they were a democrat as their votes prove they side more with “progressives”. We are where we are as a country because there is so little difference between the two parties...period.
Give me an old time, follow the Constitution and the will of the people they SERVE and I will be behind them every time!
True conservatives are those who applaud Beck’s speech. He drove home the point that it is the spending that is destroying our economy as well as our country. He gave examples on how Cooledge stopped it by cutting back on spending...... It worked!!!
So many people missed that important point. How they could miss that one important point is beyond me? This spending is destroying us.
Yes, there are progressives in both patrties. They are the spenders, the open border politicians and the anti-constitutionalists, ie., McCain, Feingold, Kennedy (dec), the little jerk in S.C., Romney, etc. There are many in both parties.
His attack on Republicans was not as focused as you and others suggest. At time she referred to us all as Big Government overspending socialists.
He is rapidly becoming a more libertarian version of that POS waffling populist Bill O'Reilly. I, for one, choose not to support him any more.
No, I'm worried that CPAC pandered to homos.
You're fine with that?
But his recent claims that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats is wrong and harmful to conservatism.
Buh-bye, Glenn Beck. You finally done jumped the shark.
Gee, I didn't realize that Kathleen Parker posted here under this pseudonym?
You Beck Bashers are REALLY, pitiful!!
Can you name me ONE, just one (other than Rush) who has done more to energize the Conservative Movement in the past year?
Yeah, thought so!
May I suggest you and other Glenn haters lay off the Kool Aid as it's clouding your judgment and making you appear no different than the average "Rat!"
I'll make it 200%.
I wasn’t there so I what I can gather from some posters here that CPAC was a GAALA gathering with rainbow flags, Glenn Beck must have spoken at the local Boy Scouts of America chapter or something because the speech I saw last night was dynamite, and I don’t like Beck.
By speaking there, does Beck now support the homos?
I think the gays were gone by the time Glenn Beck gave his (excellent) speech.
By commenting on this thread, does humblegunner now support Glenn Beck?
I am much more concerned about the Dept. of Education and their unfettered determination to normalize gay lifestyle through indoctrination.
Beck's small government speech appeals to conservatives like me who would love to eliminate departments like Education, and others, that allow small groups of activists to unduly influence our children.
Log Cabin Republicans have been around for a while. They don't bother me as long as they don't insist on using government power to push their personal agenda.
I laughed, I cried, I wished Reagan was still alive.
Beck rocked. His speech was a spike in the heart of progessives of both parties.
I thought GB’s speech (without teleprompters) was a good summary of all his shows where he enlightens the masses and talks to the common citizens. He’s honest, refreshing, and knows how to teach government and history better than any college professor I ever had.
I wish he could speak at every high school to every student — maybe we could learn from the country’s past mistakes and not try the progressive route over and over, always having to climb out of the pit after each socialist president. These students could grasp all this wisdom at 17, instead of age 35 when they have a career and family.
Who are some of you people who didn’t appreciate Beck’s speech and will belittle a man who’s not afraid to stir up excitement and participation in our country’s future?
