Ryan Sorba, from the Young Americans for Freedom organizations California chapter, was booed off the stage tonight at CPAC, for deriding CPACs choice to have GOProud attend CPAC, even going so far as to say he condemns CPAC. Not the sort of thing one would say when invited to speak at the biggest gathering of Conservatives who look to CPAC for guidance and networking.

Of course, such an idea is pie in the sky.
I think a lot of what was on this thread was actually good. As others have said, no matter what we do people will call it homophobia. But I think it matters whether they are right or wrong on that assessment.
All according to plan: http://conservapedia.com/Homosexual_agenda#Strategies_and_psychological_tactics
You are correct and it has been coming down the road for decades in many other groups/institutions.
Now it is the GOP/CPAC’s time.
Kudos to Sorba. The queers in CPAC are merely there to highjack the group.
Thanks Jim.
This is reassuring to a long time member and $/day donor.
The gay agenda pushers are insidious and devious liars.
They have basically gutted and destroyed many of our mainline churches using the same bs/pervert pro gay logic over the past two decades.
That which is driven by sexual lust will be not be contained behind doors, or the borders of counties, or, unlike beneficial love, morality that is good for a country. Read the history of how AIDs was spread. Google Gaëtan Dugas.
Simply - thanks and Thank God!
excellent post TQC and thanks.
Thanks for the exchange and I hope you have a nice day. I am off to the beach.
It was a specifically infiltrated gathering.
what i have seen condemned on this thread as hatred, appears in large part merely to be a desire that the conservative agenda NOT promote the homosexual agenda, and not animus against homosexuals themselves. So, i would be interested to hear specifically what you think can be done to acheive that end while not imparting what you consider to be hatred.
Quite the contrary, going back to the 2008 campaign the religious or social conservative bloc has been pounding on that social agenda as being paramount over traditional fiscal liberalism and constitutional constraint:
"You" seem intent on building a tripod with one long leg and two short legs to keep it from falling over all the way.
Read through this thread and it is clear that opinions that don't match that single issue lead to insult and division...if that is the future of the Tea Parties then we may well actually be doomed.
I'm perfectly willing to lock out McCain and Arnold, I'd watch Specter starve and reverend Wright burst into flame, but when someone agrees with my goal, and means, of turning this country around I don't intend to throw them out of the tent over sexual orientation.
I don't like homosexuality and I don't like Japanese Cars but don't choose friends or associates based on only those traits. It makes more sense to try and save a sinner you can talk to than to banish everyone who disagrees on those points and, in so doing, invite them to work against what I/we want to see.
YES!! Thank you Jim!!!
You are wrong. “Homophobia” is a term made up by homosexual activists to denigrate those who disagree with them - making us (or me, anyway, and others who share my POV) as “haters” and “bigots”.
You are buying into their bogus idea that the “gay life” is just an alternative and just as valid and wholesome and worthy as natural family life and sex.
And that anyone who hates their agenda and criticizes their practices as unhealthy, unnatural and mentally ill has “homophobia” and is a “hater” and a “bigot”.
On the contrary, it’s normal and natural to be disgusted and repelled by every aspect of the “gay” life.
Thank you - beach? No fair. ;-)
We don't have to lock the door to Cheney either.
He has to learn that his family situation probably isn't any of our business so just leave it at home ~ in the bedroom where it belongs eh.
Private homosexual behavior is NOT what is at issue here.
It is the radical homosexual agenda which is being maintstreamed.
Have you read this thread? The whole thing?
YOu should.
Which is why I noted that they would call us that no matter what we do -- how is that wrong?
And what have I said anywhere that suggests to you I think "gay life" is a valid alternative? I think you haven't been reading what I've written.
I guess where we disagree is that I don't get as mad about other conservatives who are wrong on this subject as some people do. I haven't disowned Dick Cheney because he is wrong about this. I do think CPAC was wrong to have GOProud support their convention, and it hurt them, but I don't fault the speakers who decided to show up anyway.
The way this is going those of us who do not want homosexual behavior NORMALIZED and PROTECTED by the US CONSIITUTION and its STATE Apparatus are the ones who won’t be tolerated...
