Is Mitt Romney getting all the pieces together for another run at the White House?
What seems to many as a forgone conclusion may soon become a reality, with the announcement of Matt Rhoades as executive director for Romney's Free and Strong America PAC.
According to an article in Politico, Rhoades, who has served on other presidential campaigns and at the Republican National Committee was communications director for Romney's 2008 run.
With the upcoming release and tour for Romney's new book No Apology: The Case for American Greatness, Romney's 2012 intentions may be one of the worst kept secrets in the country. Incidentally, Romney's book tour will make stops in several key primary states. One tour stop that doesn't fit into the "key" primary category will be Utah, where the former Massachussetts governor and 2002 Winter Olympics leader will visit in March.

The last thing a revived conservative movement needs is, though, is Willard undermining true change.
Sorry, Presidio, you are in the minority here. Most of us realized long ago that Mitt Romney was no conservative. the only thing that made him quasi-viable in 2008 was the absence of a conservative alternative (I exclude Fred Thompson who waited too long and whose heart was not in it).
This time, we have not only a conservative alternative, but THE conservative alternative, a supremely savvy and talented politician who has courage and conviction. It won’t be close. The conservative majority is stirring and it is going to put a conservative in the White House. No more Bushes, McCains, Doles or Romneys. We are taking back the GOP. And the White House. In that order.
Have seen this also , snarky attacks on Sarah Palin
by 08 Mitt supporters or they refuse to say who they are
for. Hit and run attacks.
They will not support him in the primaries. They likely will support him in the general if he wins the nomination.
“They have to eliminate her as a threat this year and they know it. Next year is too late.”
They will need mnore than good luck to eliminate her. They have fired all their missiles at her and she hasn’t even been grazed. This year, the whole story is going to be the leadup to the 2010 midterms in which the Dems are going to get the thrashing of the century. The big storyline is going to be the impact of the tea partiers and their leader and heroine...Sarah Palin. Her star, which is already high, will be even higher at the end of this year. JMO.
So Palin got twice as many votes as all the rest of the backbenchers put together. And I didn’t even see the poll. tha would have been one more vote for her.
Free Republic is Palin Country!
Aren’t there enough RINOs in the senate without having one in the White House?
I never thought I'd see a post like that here on FR.
Damn, these Romney threads are like whack-a-mole today! Good fun though.
You called?
Probably true. It's good to remind ourselves of what the Rudy strategy was:
Gearing up? The guy has been hard at since he quit the primaries.
LOL. Mitt will be just as successful. Maybe less so.
Why would a apolitical, dime a dozen, ticket punching, flip flooping, Harvard cheese weasel lawyer who has no idea of what America is about, be the best choice?
This should prove a good test to how well we the people have learned the lessen of not foolishly trusting a Washington insider. Oder’s of a dead fish follow this guy, Romney.
