Is Mitt Romney getting all the pieces together for another run at the White House?
What seems to many as a forgone conclusion may soon become a reality, with the announcement of Matt Rhoades as executive director for Romney's Free and Strong America PAC.
According to an article in Politico, Rhoades, who has served on other presidential campaigns and at the Republican National Committee was communications director for Romney's 2008 run.
With the upcoming release and tour for Romney's new book No Apology: The Case for American Greatness, Romney's 2012 intentions may be one of the worst kept secrets in the country. Incidentally, Romney's book tour will make stops in several key primary states. One tour stop that doesn't fit into the "key" primary category will be Utah, where the former Massachussetts governor and 2002 Winter Olympics leader will visit in March.

I am beginning to wonder about other democrats though. This guy is rapidly reaching plague status...
Ya mean like Sen. Rockerfeller: Obama not believable on Energy?
Much depends on November. But the natives are already restless, and Obama may well be thrown under his own bus before 2012 arrives. I simply stated he will announce his reelection campaign. That doesn't mean he won't be challenged within his own party. Nor does it mean he'll get much support. It merely means he's too sociopathic to understand the situation.
But the playing field is pretty shallow for democrat presidential candidates. As it is for Republicans, only more so. It's going to get very interesting, rather fast around here...
Yup, it is. if the Dems take a beating in November look for a rather large bus with Os name on its tires.
It’s likely ‘how much’ as opposed to ‘if’ in terms of dems suffering come November. I just don’t see anything on the horizon that will change the dynamics between now and then.
Certainly, Obama continues entrenched in his policies and his defense of them. I don’t see that changing. Nor do I see much change in the way Congress is still debating health care, and their lukewarm efforts on effective economic stimulus. That too is more-of-the-same. So, I see little change in our economic status (unless it gets worse...), thus little change in public attitude.
We’re on a collision course. And November is when the accident occurs.
Reid is in trouble, no doubt. But Pelosi has a safe district, IMO. She may well save her election, but that wouldn’t mean retaining the speaker position, even if the dems retain control after November.
Really, it’s way to early to tell what will occur in November. Even with the Tea Party activism as strong as it is today. But I can’t recall the American public being as politically aware and active as they are today. And wholly against the government as they are. Yes, it’s going to be interesting.
Thanks for the ping ... I guess ... What is it that you were drawing my attention to in this thread?
Sorry, my bad. I thought that you were on the oklahomaconservative thread and would have interest in a similar one.
After 30,000 posts to FR I hereby annoint yours the most idiotic response I have ever received here: Essentially, I MUST be a Romney supporter because I said I wasn't. Excellent logic. This, and the fact that not one of you monkeys can give a coherrent justification for the charge that Romney is a RINO (my initial question) are the chief reasons why these threads are a waste of time for intelligent people until we get closer to the election. In the mean time, you will undoubtedly spend the next year trying to destroy all viable male candidates in favor of one with even more question marks next to her name.
Thank you for proving my point.
