Breaking...
Exactly. That's what FNC says.
I never got over what he said about our MARINES.NEVER.The politics behind the attempted railroading of our warriors was treason of the highest order.
Agreed.Me too. There is a place in hell for him I am sure. I am sorry he slipped away so gently, unlike the hurt of those to whom he brought so much suffering.
I believe a special election.
Prayers to him and his family. We were just told to put our flags at half-mast for him for his Marine Corps service to the country. I did not know he retired from the military. Although, I did know that he served.
This is a pretty long thread for a man who should be forgotten.
Wonder what happened to the artist lady who would post her great graphics, forgot her name. - ahh, Linda Eddy I think.
MiaT? :)
Wait a minute. What the hell are we doing giving a 77 year-old man any kind of surgery? Shouldn’t he do the right thing and go die? Oh, wait. That’s right. He’s more valuable than the rest of us so he gets that fancy government employees health coverage even though he voted for the rest of us to just have shit for health care. The sky is the limit for Murtha, which is not intended to imply he’s going to heaven.
That’s one less vote for any of Pelosi’s nightmare legislation, and our members of the military are safer from prosecution than they were yesterday. God acts in mysterious ways.
Wow. May he RIP. Prayers for the repose of his soul.
Is Byrd running for re-election?
While I never wish death on anyone, I did see this man as one of the most destructive forces in Congress. I will never forget this Youtube video of him ramming his agenda through:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywgUCdefSW8
Simply an astounding abuse of power....
Well, at least he can’t vote from the grave. Or can he?....
Thank you! lol
I’m not going to front and pretend this is bad.
Byrd voted against amnesty in 2007. I wonder if Obama and company delayed amnesty, thinking he would have 2 reliable votes for amnesty after Kennedy and Byrd were replaced, but that didn't work out when Brown won in Mass.
Where have you been? We were worried.
Folks, you now see what importance a man like John Murtha carried to eternity. One day after his passing, hardly a word is said about him in the press and media. Why? Because no one really cares. Regrets to his family, may he rest in peace, but, a man or woman reaps what they sow!!! And....the hate spewed from the mouth of John Murtha against our military while they are at war is unforgivable and forever blemishes anything positive he ever did. The proof in the pudding is the scant coverage his passing has received. Shucks, the minute he passed, the banter ws about whether a Republican will take the seat!!! Sad, that he served so many years and has naught to show for it.
.... and they are listed on the wall. Many of the 'not so good' came back, did the devil's work and lived to a ripe old age.
Would have preferred that he had retired. Rest in Peace John Murtha.
One will find you, don’t worry. The compliment was for being a strong woman that is not afraid of stepping up and speaking her mind. I would rather hear honesty from people than the PC “RIP, or he didn’t deserve that” posts from people.
Boo hoo!
Should send flowers.
Should be some flowering weeds around the yard somewhere to pull up and send.
USMC going to put their flags at half mast....Murtha was so cherished by them for his unfailing support.
