May this snowstorm stop every D.C. politician in their tracks and paralyze all their efforts for several days. We need the break.

I’m closer to the city. We’ve been lucky for the most part..you folks out in Westmoreland County and points north have been pelted this winter. Some of our schools let out the kiddies early. One of my friends from my former job said the bosses were letting everyone go home at 2:00. Usually, the companies here wait till after about 6 inches of snow before they send the employees home.

ya know, in the old days of band/line printers and dot matrix printers and teletypes, I can see why government releases would come out in all caps.

But geesh guys, come to this century.

NET: the area is gonna get DUMPED on. Deal with it. (used to live there)

It may be God’s way of saying he is quite angry with the lying, conniving president and his henchmen.

Back in '81 or 82, I was working in Bethesda for the gov. They let all government employees out early because of snow. I lived 5 miles away from work. Left work at 2:00 got home at about 7:00.

Now I live in da U.P. 174" of snow as of right now. No body stays home and during a white out people still go about there business. I think there nuts, but, I guess that's how you live when it snows 7 months out of the year...lol

Pay no attention to this storm. It's Bush's fault - Not part of global warming.

Haven’t reviewed all posts but here’s my take (like it matters):
1. Bush’s fault
2. Global Warming

I’m about 25 miles east of the Burgh...we are having thunder snow! Coming down so hard you can only sorta see the flashes.

Just measured...shy of 10 inches. With the thunder, our lights flicker...it will be amazing if we DON’T lose power.
