This puts Barry in a quandary. IMHO, since his “daddy” wasn’t a citizen, Barry is a citizen, but NOT natural born.

Barry could possibly get out of that, if he releases his BC and there isn’t a “daddy” listed. I believe then he would qualify for Natural Born, being his mother was a citizen.

However, that then would show all the world that Barry and the “Obama” stories that have been woven are a complete fabrication. “Dreams” and his “Biography” are just a bunch of lies.

No. NBC means that BOTH parents must be American citizens. Obama Sr.wasn’t an Americian citizen so he should be put out on his ear on that issue alone. Hussein only claims he is a “native” citizen which would be the truth if he indeed were born in Hawaii, but that doesn’t make him eligible per the US Constitution which requires natural born citizenship.

If he didn’t learn this at Harvard or during his Senate time, then he certainly learned this distinction when he sat on the six member Senate committee that reviewed and cleared up the question that his opponent, McCain’s, “natural born citizen” status. Read the Senate Resolution 511 linked below at Sen. Leahy’s (democrat) site. It’s short and eye opening.

Not a tall! If you are born in the USA (like Springsteen), or on USA territory, and both of your parental units are American citizens, voilà, you are a "Natural Born citizen."

If Obama was born in Hawaii, which is certainly a possibility, he still would not be a "Natural Born American Citizen," because his father was a foreign national, a subject of the Crown.

Constitutional qualifications for US Representative, Senator, and POTUS are progressivly more restrictive, reflecting increasingly higher standards to countenance the investment of power of each of those stations.

US Rep. Qualifications are at Art. I, Sec. 2, para. 2:
"No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen."

US Senator qualifications are at Art. I, Sec. 3, para. 3:
"No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen."

POTUS qualifications appear at Art. II, Sec. 1, para. 5:
"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

Note that Senators' qualifications are more strict than those for Rep., and that POTUS qualifications are, appropriately, the strictest of all, requiring not just citizenship, but being a natural born citizen.

A natural born citizen is a citizen as conferred by natural law, by both blood and soil; born on US soil of parents both of whom are citizens. Any diminishment of those standards of natural law through any manmade law (e.g., equivocations about various circumstances, such as only one US citizern parent is permissiable as long as the child is born on US soil) is a violation of the Framers' intentions and a diminishment of the national security device purposefully included in the phrase, "natural born Citizen," which secures the greatest possible protections for the undivided loyalty of our singular Commander-in-Chief.
