Basically the guy lost a great girl for being...Brasileiro... He did her wrong, he wouldn't commit, he cheated, but he the moment he sees her with her new boyfriend he realizes everything he lost and all the old feelings of love return.

OK, I know not all Brasilian guys are like that, but man, the stories I hear...

To be fair, my buddy Paulo is very Christian with his relationships and was never like that. He's very happily married now.

The most interesting story I heard was from a Bahiana ex-gf. She ended up marrying some fellow who told her he was a businessman who travelled back and forth from the US to Brasil. Right up until she decided to go with him to Brasil...and met his "other" wife. It was not a happy break up.

Personal note: Mulheres do Nordeste sing to you when they talk. Not song, but in their nasal-sounding Portuguese. Muito sexy...
