I am confident that various factions will coalesce around the GOP nominees for Governor and US Senate - regardless of who they are. If not, so be it.Yeah. It doesn't matter how liberal they are, just so they have an (R) behind their name. I get it. Go for it, Bucko. And when he begins voting with the Dems, I'll look you up.

Two things are for sure now:
1.) Stroger dynasty is over.
2.) Mark Kirk is the nominee.

I’m a news junkie so I heard alot about it. The people in my neighborhood are really hard working...they don’t seem to spend much time on the internet or listening to the radio or watching tv. But they are fierce in their opposition to socialism—especially the older ones who experienced it in Poland. That was why I initially thought Adam had the best chance if he could hook into this group and draw them into the political process. I was just not impressed with him for alot of reasons. Using the Executive Order to govern, for example? I gave my support to Proft and I hope he runs for office again. Someone needs to do more outreach to that group of voters (Polish) and, as you say, not so close to the election so it has time to have an effect.

So in your “real world”, liberal DIABLOs from corrupt political machines are the only people you vote for in Republican primaries ? I thought this was a Conservative website ?

Close race, shame so many candidates to diffuse the Kirk vote, heard he is a major homosexual.
RNC leadership ought to be strung up.

“I’m lost regarding Hultgren V Hastert. Denny’s son?”
Yah, Denny’s son. My 1st choice ended up dropping out, a local tea party guy. He just couldn’t compete with the big money from these two. Hultgren is a state senator and Hastert is Denny’s son. I figured he will have too many of his daddy’s connections and wouldn’t truly be going in as a fresh candidate.

Heard Kirk refused to debate, so that helped him apparently because Hughes is very articulate, but can’t believe some Illinois freepers voted for Kirk over a conservative, if that’s the mentality of more than a few Illinois conservatives, no wonder Kirk is so far ahead. Lincoln Chafee rides again.

I recognize reality, too. Mark Kirk can win in a deep blue state. Like Scott Brown, his moderate positions make him more electable for Democrats and Independents, voters he needs to win a state that hasn’t sent a Republican to the Senate since Peter Fitzgerald 12 years ago. Kirk has proven himself as a capable fundraiser (over $3 million cash on hand) and he’s won multiple House races in a district that leans +5 to +10 Democrat. Plus, he has the advantage of facing a likely opponent who is badly flawed.

It's been fun to see Todd Stroger getting his ass kicked by Toni Preckwinkle for County Board President. I heard him on Don Wade and Roma Show on WLSAM this morning. His arrogance was gone; the stench of electoral death was in his voice. Ha ha ha ha ha.

No, FRiend, what this is about is putting up Conservatives for the Republican ticket, not liberal pukes from corrupt political machines. You voted for Kirk the liberal and you have the unmitigated nerve to criticize the rest of us on a CONSERVATIVE website for not supporting your sleazy liberal puke in the general election just because he has an “R” after his name ? What the hell are you smoking ? What part of “No More RINOs” do you exactly fail to grasp ?
