He disgusts me.

Yes, me too, but we take what we can get from Massachusetts.

Yeah, that’s the attitude that helps win so many converts.

You can’t have every issue you want from someone from a liberal wasteland like MA. I would love to have a Brown from NY instead of Chuckie or Gillibrand.

Scott Brown...another supporter of infanticide.

I'm not familiar with his views on abortion, but I imagine he has to have came done on the side saying it should be legal. Otherwise I'm sure the voters in Mass. would haven't voted for him and the media would have made that a major issue during the campaign.

But what has he actually done to support abortion. There is the political reality of saying you're for it, but as a Senator the best thing he can do is fight to approve judges that would overturn Roe v. Wade. Of course that would just return the decision to the states, but that's better than what we have today.

I'm sure you would have been a lot more digusted if his opponent had won the election.

I agree 100 percent. I just wait until you and I are vindicated and he votes with the Dems more than the Republicans. It is coming sooner than they believe.

you're right. Bad bad bad Scott Brown. Bad boy. sit. heel.
Coakley is an angel. It's such a shame she didn't win. next time, pray harder.

Meanwhile....

GO SCOTT!

He’s much better than Coakley. We can’t have every elected official support all the conservative values. If we tried that we’d get no one. So as far as Scott Brown goes, I’m taking him!

A vote against Obamacare is a vote against Government funding of infanticide.

Yes, but we may have already have had health care passed had Brown not been elected.

Brown will be ineffectual on abortion (meaning he won't help the pro-abortionists), but will help hugely with just about every other issue out there.

I'll take him enthusiastically over Coakley.

Yeah, that's the right position. We would have been much better off with Coakley or if Ted had just survived a while longer.

That would certainly have put an end to that old infanticide problem.

Your reaction to this news disgusts me.

He’s against PBA and for parental notification.

I don’t know what else you expect from Massachusetts.

It’s not like he is running for a national ticket.

After reading the replies in response to your post, I see you’ve already been adequately spanked. Hopefully you can see through your disgust and come to realize that there are worse people than Brown. Coakley comes to mind.

While I understand the reasoning behind the whole "no overt pro-life person could ever win in Massachusetts" statement--Brown has never come out as a blatant pro-choicer either, nor does he give me the impression as being a disingenuous, flip flopping, Romney- type.

He's publicly maintained his firm stances on parental notification, being against federal funding of abortion, against funding for embryonic stem cell research,, and VERY passionate about defending religious institutions' right to refuse abortion services. If you go to Wikipedia, you'll see that he has a very close relationship with a group of nuns that he helped raise 5 million dollars to support.

I do believe Scott Brown is pro life-leaning and not someone we should dismiss so readily. THIS IS NOT TO JUSTIFY those who merely lie about their stances for political gain, but I believe his chanage of heart to a more solid stance on the issue is worth our prayers and our letters.

Also unlike Romney, Brown has never flip flopped on a social issue like gay marriage. Brown has always openly advocated the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman and preserving the sanctity of the nuclear family. He is not your typical socially liberal, east coast moderate.

I'm sorry, did I miss the part where Brown specifically said he would vote against the nomination of a Supreme Court justice who would support overturning Roe V. Wade? Because that is the ONLY thing that matters as far as a US Senator is concerned on the abortion issue.

Abortion purists like you are what get people like Obama elected. Thanks. Thanks alot.

Bringing to mind that you recently accused ME (decades long pro-life activist) of being a 'supporter of infanticide' simply because I don't support the 1st degree murder of abortion doctors, as you do.

Putting your angry, radical POV in perspective for readers of this thread.......

You are correct, he also voted for romney care and tax increases. He is liberal light and I laugh to myself when he is CONSTANTLY referred to as CONSERVATIVE. He is NOT conservative!

I still voted for him only because it was the right thing to do.

I understand and sympathize. I am passionately Pro-Life, as You are.

Here is Brown’s STATED view:

He against Partial Birth Abortion (So am I!)
He is against minors getting abortions without parental notice and consent. (So am I!)
He is against any tax dollars paying for abortions in any health care bill. (So am I!)
He is against minors crossing state lines to obtain abortions.(So am I!)
He believes that such a decision is between an adult woman and her doctor and should be very rare and extreme. (Here is where we differ. I am against abortion, period).

I think it is a slight improvement (albeit not perfect) compared to Martha Coakley’s stand on the subject. So we can Thank God for the Little Things and keep moving forward.
