Breaking...
SWEETNESS!!!
I totally agree with you post but at least on this site I don’t think we need to “cheerlead” the guy.
Thank you for that information, Texowa!
I understand and sympathize. I am passionately Pro-Life, as You are.
Here is Brown’s STATED view:
He against Partial Birth Abortion (So am I!)
He is against minors getting abortions without parental notice and consent. (So am I!)
He is against any tax dollars paying for abortions in any health care bill. (So am I!)
He is against minors crossing state lines to obtain abortions.(So am I!)
He believes that such a decision is between an adult woman and her doctor and should be very rare and extreme. (Here is where we differ. I am against abortion, period).
I think it is a slight improvement (albeit not perfect) compared to Martha Coakley’s stand on the subject. So we can Thank God for the Little Things and keep moving forward.
Yep, besides, they will never elect a conservative in Mass. I dislike moderate republicans but they are the best you can do in some areas of the country.
Seated on Feb 11th. Wonder what the Senate is voting on Feb 10?
Wow... excellent point, GOPsterinMA.
From Scott Brown's Facebook page posted 1 hour ago...he will be sworn in on Feb. 11 at 12:45PM
Thank you Nutmeg. Sad but true.
That means they will vote on the unconstitutional, socialist health care February 10th.
has lied about her involvement with the Wage and Hour Watch program -- five times telling senators that she had no intention to expand the program to the entire state (leaving it localized in New York City), but later emails and other documents revealed that she did indeed plan to expand the program throughout the entire state of New York.
Kirk should not be voting.
Scott Brown never would have been elected if he was pro life. He has been very clear in his views and his own website makes clear he supports abortion.
He has never pretended to be anything he isn't. I think most people are able to process and deal with the fact that since he is from Massachusetts that he will not vote like he is from Alabama.
We know he will vote against Obamacare, against tax increases and he does not like the way the Obama administration is handling terrorists. Those are the 3 main issues in the race. Anything after those areas are gravy with lots of fat.
There are no "I told you so's" from you two since we know he is not a straight down the line conservative and he does not pretend to be. Be thankful we have a Scott Brown from Mass and not a Coakley. Scott is the best we are going to do in Massachusetts.
You people are clueless to political realities.
Unfortunately I lived through the 90’s and early 00’s when Republicans were in charge and passed the Drug prescription socialized bill and many others so I do know more than you can imagine. We are supposed to want conservatives!!! This new Republican Party or whatever is going to be awful and you will be the first to complain...lol.
Yeah? Tough. The gutless Repubs just wring their hands and wet their pants.
Seated on Feb 11? Another 9 days away? 0bozo the commie pig and the socialist demoRAT pigs can do lots of damage in less than half of this time.
Ted was elected the yr I was born, 1962. Very long time
Thanks for the ping!
We don't see many complaints here about that, except moronic comments like 'Scott Brown is for infanticide.' Scott Brown is on the side of many pro-life policies such as supporting and promoting adoption as an alternative to abortion. He is against partial birth abortion and he is for parental notification for minors seeking an abortion. He is also a fiscal conservative and much better for us than any commie democrat a basic truth that some on this side can't understand.
The Senate has voted very recently to raise the debt level to $14.3 trillion by using the much needed 60 votes that included Paul Kirk. Kirk has also helped them out on 3 other big senate votes. Kirk's term was over with the election of Scott Brown, yet he is still voting on raising the debt and no one is complaining about that. Instead, some prefer to trash Scott Brown when he hasn't been seated yet.
This kind of attitude among some who are supporting our cause, and the indifference to the real damage the democrats are inflicting to the nation (and to many generations to come) is sickening and indicative that some are not really serious about the politics of fighting the enormous damage the democrats are causing.
