The president is scheduled to give the State of the Union address at 9 PM eastern.
Not taped, live. But how would it respond point by point to a speech that just happened.
It responded to Obama’s entire world view.
Very discriptive!
ROVE, YMB
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think he actually spoke without a teleprompter. Is it posible a politician actually can speak and mean what he says?

That truly sucks. I pray GOD you can get it resolved in your favor. If 10% was good enough for Jesus, then it should be for the gov’t....all levels total. To think we revolted over a couple pennies tax on tea, yet today endure 50% of our income being confiscated by our government totally flamboozles me.
Been there and done that... I agree!! LOL
At least they Doc gives you a drug so you don’t remember much of it. LOL
ROVE ON FOX
I missed the last 30 seconds. Did Obama say “God Bless America” at the end?
I could not agree with you more! And more importantly, by doing it at the Virginia State Capitol building, it gives the response a lot more gravitas and suddenly makes The Zero look even smaller in comparison.
Sarah is there as well.....
For me, Obama was more like a . . . well . . .
Like a milkshake that was all milk and almost no ice cream. I mean, he didn’t make me want to throw things through the TV like, say, Clinton did, but at the end, I went away completely, totally unsatisfied.
Maybe it’s just that I’m a decade older now and wiser about what to expect about SOTU’s, but my main reaction to tonight’s speech is “meh.”
I don’t know why we bothered. Nothing changed.
Obama will get a bounce, because he was on TV, saying stuff, and people were applauding, but the bounce won’t last.
He hasn’t changed course. He hasn’t changed policies. The leopard does not change his spots. The man is a socialist. Period. He tries to use conservative words, but they always sound hollow. He asks for bipartisanship minutes after blaming everything on Bush. Yeah—that’ll work.
The Republicans will win both houses of Congress this November, unless they (and they are the Stupid Party, remember) figure out a way to screw it up totally.
I’m still at “What the hell was that????” as a general reaction to the speech.
LMAO. A man’s gotta know his limits.
Okay, Sarah’s on Gretta now... gotta run.
“Too bad you didnt hear that. I did.”
*********
I wish I had your insight into politics. I’m just saying that before, every GOP response addressed, point by point, the SOTU speech. McDonnell was taped and campaigning, so it’s different to me.
Karl Rove: Says he was struck by the tone. “It was very odd and disconnected.”
Last year Bobby Jindahl's speech was pandering & conciliatory to 0bozo, and McDonnell's speech was pretty bland. Why can Repubs ever go on the offense and specifically call out the socialism & destruction of America that Obozo's policies will lead to.
Just a weak, vanilla response IMO.
I am tired of the PIVOT term, BO can’t even pivot in basketball!
yep, he said it.....”God bless America”.
