Gov. McDonnell.... an ok performance but still pretty weak & limp wristed IMO. Whenever GW Bush gave his SOTU, the demoRATs ALWAYS responded & rebutted with a personal vindictiveness & vengence, and responded to very specific things that they would attack GW Bush & the Republicans.

Last year Bobby Jindahl's speech was pandering & conciliatory to 0bozo, and McDonnell's speech was pretty bland. Why can Repubs ever go on the offense and specifically call out the socialism & destruction of America that Obozo's policies will lead to.

Just a weak, vanilla response IMO.

I agree. Wilbur Ross just responded with 7 issues on Obama’s speech in less then 3 minutes and each were meaningful and insightful (fox business channel).

I had the opposite reaction. It was the first rebuttal in years that didn’t put me to sleep.

I didn't watch McDonnell's rebuttal, but I did read the text and he knocks it out of the park. One of the best I have seen.
