Leading off his show tonight, Mark Levin endorsed former Congressman J. D. Hayworth in the Republican primary race to unseat Senator John McCain of Arizona.
As Mark pointed out, McCain is already "bravely" attacking Hayworth using the government as the weapon.
The anti-Hayworth effort began in earnest Dec. 15, when Grant Woods, the former Arizona attorney general and onetime McCain chief of staff, filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission. Woods argued that Hayworth, who has used his KFYI drive-time program to blast away at McCain as a soft-on-immigration moderate, was essentially getting free airtime to wage a campaign as a de facto candidate.

Seems to me JD has the USSC on his side. Wonder what the FEC’s going to do with all those garbage complaints now.

And so it begins. McCain’s desperate attempt to destroy his competition.

Was there ever any doubt who a true conservative would support in this primary. Sarah, you seeing this?

Because McCain will attack a conservative 5X faster than a liberal. That’s why he has to go.
To: Sergeant Tim
This is VERY SMART
Show McLame as the over-the-hill useless political HACK that he is, who is now tryig to use the government itself to keep his power.

Well, of course TGO endorsed J.D. Hayworth over McCain. Hayworth is much more conservative. I’m with Mark.

I agree with you on who the real conserv is in this race and Palin's support of McCain.
She's lost me as a fan. I think she feels some sort of loyalty to McCain, but once his former staffers started trashing her....she should have distanced herself from the old coot!
To: JoSixChip
I think Sarah had too much class to turn McLame down, and she might do Hayworth a great favor by giving only perfuctory support to McClame and thereby “damn him with faint praise”
