Security sources say an Egyptian was stopped last Saturday as he tried to board an American Airlines flight to Miami. A man from Saudi Arabia was banned from boarding a United Airlines flight to Chicago the next day and sent back to Saudi.

Do they just stop them from boarding and send them back where they came from? How about searching them for bombs or other suspicious items? It's nice that they stopped a possible plane bombing or two, but it's not exactly going to discourage them from trying again if they know there is no penalty for getting caught.
