I agree with the waiting to see if he is the candidate, then she could come forth the support him, not now, too early.

I'm not sure if she risks losing some conservatives just yet. Perhaps we may rethink her political strategies a little, but forgive we will.

Beck wasn’t happy about it, either.

Initially, even this morning I thought it was best. I'm rapidly becoming worried it was a mistake.

Politics is war is hell.

The answer to your question is no.

J.D. was the Numero Uno target in the 2006 AZ House races. A huge amount of Soros money (and other anti-American groups) saturated Arizona with anti-J.D. campaigning. It worked. 2006 was a bad year for Republicans.

Just so you know, the same progressive groups are now stockpiling money to use against Michelle Bachman in Minnesota this year. Their strategy worked against J.D. in 2006, but I don't think it will work this year.

What I’m saying is we are part of the Thelma and Louise part of the Republican party, just as there are Thelma and Louise people in the JackAss party.

And you may be driving the car, Geron.

Sarah will have some schedule conflicts in March I am thinking, if she doesn’t call it her appearances earlier.

I would just not go and beat her up right off the bat on this, J.D. is not(not just yet) running, when he does, she may swing her support to him.

I would give this time to digest before we go and damage her with comments on things that haven’t come to pass yet.

If she wants to ‘keep a promise’ to McAmnesty fine, do it if he emerges against some RAT in Sept. But not now

I'd bet a sizable amount that Juan pushed this timetable on Sarah once it became apparent that JD was likely to be a serious opponent. He needed her to try and take some conservative support away from JD. Don't think it will work.

McCain is a self-serving, low life political snake, and he'd ruin Sarah without a second thought just to save his own sorry hide. I've often wondered who was advising and helping Sarah. I hope she'll realize her mistake and find a way out of this, if she has any future political ambitions.

McCain's been running 2010 ads for a few weeks now. His early ones were very anti-Obama and specifically named Obama. He was much more anti Obama than anything he ran in 2008.

Then they kind of switched to being anti "Congress".

Now they're specifically anti-Hayworth.

In fact, McCain just ran an anti-Hayworth ad on the JD Hayworth show.

I don’t know why, but she is bound and determined to stay loyal to him. She is about the last person who will still stick up for him. I assume it’s something personal between them, but she is by his side, thick and thin. I admire her for that, even though I know I don’t understand.

Sara Palin should have stayed out of the primary and then campaigned for whoever won it.

The Arizona Republicans need to stand up and make it loud and clear:

NO FIFTH TERM FOR MCCAIN!!!

—McCain finished 494th out of a class of 499 at the Naval Acadamy.

—McCain crashed five Navy jets during his military service in Vietnam.

—McCain is NOT a natural born citizen as per the Constitution of the United States.

—McCain may or may have not given information to his North Vietnamese captors while being held as a POW.

—When McCain’s first wife was seriously injured in an automobile accident in Florida leaving her face permanently disfigured, McCain abandoned her and commited adultery with another woman who was young enough to be his daughter.

—McCain was the co-author of the most repressive anti-free speech legislation in recent memory (McCain-Feingold).

—McCain is in favor of unlimited amnesty for illegal aliens who break our laws and piss in all of our American faces.

—McCain is a FIRST CLASS RINO ready for the political slaughter.

JD should make sure that Sarah Palin is with him on the podium when he makes it official that he is a candidate for the United States Senate from the great state of Arizona.

Sarah has a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to stab McCain right in the small of the back. She’s going to have show a little ‘Dragon Lady’, if she wants to be taken SERIOUSLY for the Republican nomination for POTUS.

After all, if she can’t topple McCain, what makes you think she can topple Hugo Chavez?

From his words, it sounds like it, doesn’t it? But, wait and be sure before anyone sends contributions. I don’t know much about JD,.....

JD has been mulling the race and people have been all but begging him to enter. I'm certain he's made his decision now !!!

Nobody can donate until he's officially a declared candidate, but immediately after that ... WOW!

JD is a wonderful guy! He was an excellent US Represenative for his AZ district, for CONSERVATIVES EVERYWHERE, and he was on FNC a lot. speaking up for CONSERVATIVE CAUSES and he'll make a mightty fine CONSERVATIVE US SENATOR.

He lost his House seat last time out during the presidentail election. There were some vague links to Abraham the lobbyist (whatever) but that's old news and all straightened out now.

You will be entirely pleased with JD HAYWORTH!

JD was one of the biggest spenders in Congress, and one of the reasons why the GOP took a shellacking in 2006.

Possibly. However, JD was the victim of some weird redistricting, where he went from being the Congressman from conservative Mesa to being the Congressman from the liberal ASU University area.

I was most impressed with Hayworth in 2003-04. Remember when the fuel pipeline broke between Tucson and Phoenix? Poor old Napolitano had not a clue what to do. Gas shortages in Phoenix and costs 3-4 dollars above the national average.

Hayworth had a plan and he shared it with Napolitano. Get the gasoline on train tankers pronto! Get gasoline to the Phoenix area. Get semi-tankers to transfer the fuel from the trains to the retailers. Get the pipeline crews working pronto. Contract bonuses to companies that could deliver the soonest and pay them for it.

Napolitano took his advice and problem was solved in two weeks or sooner.

Hayworth knows how to fix stuff.

The former Gov had no clue how to fix the problem. McCain offered no advice.

Hayworth built a plan and challenged Napolitano to implement it. It worked.

“Well, ‘tis true. JD was one of the biggest spenders in Congress, and one of the reasons why the GOP took a shellacking in 2006.

No????”
++++++++++

Are you saying that he was part of the general GOP spending malaise or that he specifically was a big spender (earmarks and pork)?
