Sen. John McCain (R) has known from an early stage that he could face a tough primary in his bid for re-election this year, and acted on it. He already launched radio ads touting his effort to block President Obama's "extreme left wing crusade." And just this week, Sen.-elect Scott Brown (R) recorded robocalls that went out to voters in Arizona.
Now, a Rasmussen poll (502 LVs, 1/20, MoE +/- 4.5%) shows the Maverick just over 50 percent in a potential matchup against former Rep. JD Hayworth -- not the best position for an incumbent to be, but an improvement over the dead heat Rasmussen found in November.
Primary Election Matchup
McCain 53 (+8 vs. last poll, 11/18)
Hayworth 31 (-12)
Simcox 4 (unch)
Und 8 (+1)

He just turned out to be all hat and no cattle, or all toque and no moose if you prefer.
Right backatcha.
FYI, I hate liberalism. Period. Opposition to liberalism is why conservatism and FRee Republic exist. So, either take your liberal-loving ways to a more suitable forum, or stfu! I've been speaking out against liberalism all my life and I'm not about to stop because some fool like you is infatuated with Scotty Brown. LOL
You, and many other Palin fans, take any critical comments about her WAY too seriously.
By saying her actions disappoint, are wrong, or stupid, or politically twisted, or whatever, does NOT mean they hate Sarah.
I like her, would support her against most candidates in a primary, but would feel free to comment on actions or statements I oppose.
And I damned sure find fault with her supporting McCain, especially before a primary that might reveal a real conservative candidate.
After all, this is a CONSERVATIVE forum, not a Republican forum, not a Reagan forum, not a Palin forum, but CONSERVATIVE.
Spit in your own milk, but don’t spit in mine please.
“The primary is in August. Why on earth is he waiting so long?”
Because he knows that the Democrats would kick his butt with a boot marked “Abramoff”?

yes you’re such a great conservative that you are not even happy Brown won in a historic seat
why are you not on the march to life ?
JUst out of curiousity do you have any idea why most on these threads about Brown don’t agree with you about BROWN WINNING?
see we didn’t want Coakley and thought of Brown as a way to win this seat was good for us and it has been as Govt take over of health care is now nearly dead.
I guess you don’t understand that do you seeing as there must have been about 100 posters saying the same to you .
Now quick you might piss a thread about Brown and you might not be able to trash him.
“Your pro-abort, liberal northeast pal, Scott Brown, is also supporting McCain.”
Yeah, too bad the Dem didn’t win. She sure wouldn’t support McCain! that makes her soooo much better than Brown. [/sarc]

I am liberal because I wanted Brown
take it then 90% of us on here must leave because Reagan man has said we’re all liberals
do you have any idea how stupid that sounds?
FFS sort your life out will you
“Hayworth lost his Congressional seat in 2006. Why does he deserve to be a United States Senator at this time? I personally would vote against him.”
Hey, enough with the commen sense already. This thread is supposed to be a droolfest for the Modys and absolutists...

Fred was late, Fred was a bit lethargic and most importantly, the Democrat controlled media pushed Huckabee at the right time.
All that said, I believe Feepers were right to give Fred a frenzied push. I certainly wouldn't mock it.
Mobys, not Modys...

JD can still pull this out if we get behind him. I LOVE Sarah but she isn’t God, and JD is by far the best! We can “Doug Hoffman and Scott Brown” JD!!! GO JD GO!!!!
They're sounding eerily similar to the Rudy supporters of 2007. And who can forget how persuasive and effective they were?
Your cheerleading for Scott Brown is no different then the cheering that went on for other liberals like Schwarzennegger, Giuliani and Romney. Just because you and others have lost your minds, doesn’t mean all FReepers have lost their minds. Not everyone is about to march in lock step supporting a Massachusetts liberal because he has an “R” after his name. Like you, that is just plain dopey!
Michelle is just great! Sue Myrick also—SoCarolina USRep.
I agree with all of that.
Another McCain bootlicker! LOL
why are you not on the right to life march?
right for you to understand, as this is going in circles with you.
I along with many others are happy Brown won and we was helping him to win.
You on the other hand was on as many threads as possible for you to trash Brown.
Now the future will tell what he really is like .
Now I understand that if your dog ran off with Brown or something and that is why you feel you need to trash him at every chance but you getting all pissed off because we wanted him to win and he won is pathetic quite frankly.
I liked it when Palin said, upon being selected as the VP running mate, That if it would serve the country, she would do her best.
So, was she called to serve, or was it a political carrer move?
If she is helping McCain because he “gave her an opportunity” it shows that she’s bought and paid for.
If she is helping McCain because she thinks he’s the best candidate, well, thats double plus ungood also.
Going Rogue? More like Going Borg.
