At the FReeper Canteen! C'mon and take a break ! Walk on over to the water cooler and lets chat. Post your thoughts, opinions, news of the day, rantings, ravings, pontificates, hypothesis, hyperboles, your soap box cause, your mantra, your baggage, your garbage, your blogging, your secrets, whatever you feel would make talk around the water cooler real interesting! Old Farmer's Advice Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong. Keep skunks and bankers at a distance. Life is simpler when you plow around the stumps. A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor. Words that soak into your ears are whispered...not yelled. Meanness don't jes' happen overnight. Forgive your enemies; it messes up their heads. Do not corner somethin' that you know is meaner than you. It don't take a very big person to carry a grudge. You can't unsay a cruel word. Every path has a few puddles. When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty. The best sermons are lived, not preached. Most of the stuff people worry about ain't never gonna happen anyway. Don't judge folks by their relatives. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer. Live a good, honorable life.. Then when you get older and think back, you'll enjoy it a second time. Don't interfere with somethin' that ain't bothering you none. Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a Rain dance. If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin'. Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got. The biggest troublemaker you'll probably ever have to deal with, watches you from the mirror every mornin'. Always drink upstream from the herd. Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment. Lettin' the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin' it back in.. If you get to thinkin' you're a person of some influence, try orderin' somebody else's dog around. Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight,he'll just kill you. Live simply ~ love generously ~ care deeply ~ speak kindly ~ leave the rest to God. And remember: When you quit laughing, you quit living!! *Worst American Idol Clips*   The U.S. Marines have kept its one secret weapon in hiding for the longest time. NE, which stands for "Novel Explosive" is a "thermobaric mixture which ignites the air, producing a shock wave of unparallel destructive power, especially against buildings," as reported by David Hambling for Defensetech.org.The rest of the story.... *Future Weapons SMAW-NE*   Big Daddy's Tomato Tortellini Soup Looking for a meal in less than 30 minutes? This hearty soup is the perfect thing to warm you up fast on these cold winter nights! Ingredients: 1/2 to 1 cup Bloody Mary Mix (to desired spiciness) 3 T Olive Oil 1 Yellow Onion Chopped 3 Cloves Garlic Minced 1 141/2 oz can diced tomatoes drained 6 cups chicken broth 2 tsp fresh chopped rosemary or 1/2 tsp dried    12 oz of fresh meat or cheese tortellini or 9 oz ravioli 3 cups chopped fresh spinach or 1 10oz package of frozen spinach (thawed and drained) salt and pepper to taste Directions: Heat Olive Oil in large pot add onion and garlic, saute 5 minutes.  Add tomato, cook 1 minute.  Stir in broth and rosemary, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.  Add pasta and simmer for five additional minutes.  Add spinach and salt and pepper to taste.  Continue cooking until spinach is wilted and pasta is tender.  Garnish with Chopped fresh basil and Parmesan cheese
