The capper for the night is this, The results from Ted Kennedy's home town, down to precinct level! It's a PDF of a the official tally sheet for Barnstable, MA (which included the village of Hyannis) giving all their FINAL results (BTW only 5 precincts still out statewide, still 52/47 Brown!) I'm not bothering to reformat it to HTML tables; read it yourself and grin! Brown carried ALL thirteen precincts by a total of 12331 Brown, 7543 Coakley, 179 Joe Kennedy and 8 write-ins. That's 61.5% to 37.6%. And in Ted's own old precinct, which of course was the 13th(!) the tally was 656 Brown to 504 Coakley to 18 Joe Kennedy to 1 write-in (I presume Teddy wrote himself in, but that detail wasn't provided), thus 55.6% Brown, 42.7% Coakley. Brown carried Teddy's home precinct by 13 points!!!

His story about seeing a homemade sign in the snow he didn’t make was classic. Also the line of Driving his truck by himself and then Air Force One having to do an emergency run to Logan was great fun along w/his challenge to obozo to a Bball game. He is really easy to listen to.

Western Mass is the home of Amherst College and UMASS Amherst. This town passed a town resolution agreeing to take in terrorists from Club Gitmo and give them houses. It is the Berkley of the East and perhaps even further left. The people who live here don’t think Obama is liberal enough to give you a flavor. Western Mass makes the metro West and suburbs north of Boston look like Texas ! Thankfully very few people live there. The stunner is the towns immediately south of Boston that voted for Brown. These are deep blue union towns and even parts of Boston only narrowly went for Coakley.
