Western Mass is the home of Amherst College and UMASS Amherst. This town passed a town resolution agreeing to take in terrorists from Club Gitmo and give them houses. It is the Berkley of the East and perhaps even further left. The people who live here don’t think Obama is liberal enough to give you a flavor. Western Mass makes the metro West and suburbs north of Boston look like Texas ! Thankfully very few people live there. The stunner is the towns immediately south of Boston that voted for Brown. These are deep blue union towns and even parts of Boston only narrowly went for Coakley.
