How many poll stations are open?
I know in non-main elections, often lines form because they only have a small portion of the polling places open etc.
Is that the case in Mass? If so, that could account for lines etc.
Hi neighbor! I’m from Wrentham - haven’t voted yet because of all the media that will be down at the school.
John King from CNN said that most of his family that still lives in Dorchester will be voting for Scott.

My wife and I cast TWO votes from Scott Brown. (Only one vote each as we aren't Democrats or anything like that.)
It's looking very good for Scott Brown. The Brown sign holders were everywhere and they were getting honks and thumbs up. The Coakley supports (three of them) huddled around one gigantic Coakley sign but that was it.
In line, the person in front of us mentioned he was voting for the very first time and wanted to make a statement. He was holding a Scott Brown campaign brochure. There wasn't a long line but a steady stream nonetheless, and a lot of people on my street were already checked off when I signed in. Another good indicator for Brown as my neighborhood is plastered with Brown lawn signs.
We are making history today!

Two questions: How many conservatives are voting for the first time...because they never felt that they had a chance to win?
How many plantation blacks* (that voted for Obummer)aren’t voting today because they don’t have a dog in the hunt?
*as opposed to the intelligent, independant blacks who truly judge candidates by their content & character and not skin pigmentation.
In Massachusetts you must declare which party ballot you want in a primary election, however in the general election that is not necessary.

You should have done what I did with my Mc/Palin signs. Got a pair of cheap rubber gloves, and rubbed the signs, very heavily, with poison ivy! Neighbor’s kid couldn’t figure out how he got such a bad case! Little jerk!
Hopefully this enthusiasm is for BROWN and not a last-minute surge for Coakley.
