This is a fascinating interview of Martha Coakley this morning on a local TV station, focusing mostly on health care. Note how Martha Coakley dismisses the concerns that voters have about health care by claiming the voters are too unfocused, dont really understand this issues involved, etc.
In particular, watch her adamant response to the question about the fact that 61 percent of voters in the Suffolk poll dont think we can afford government-run health care. Are they wrong? the interviewer asks.
They ARE wrong, Coakley practically shouts...

Exactly right.
Her other problem is that she is not as guarded as most liberal politicians have learned to be. She just blurts out things that expose what most of her peers only think to themselves: The public is stupid. We know better. Campaigns are demeaning. I'd rather go to $1000 a plate fundraisers with my social equals than shake hands with a bunch of idiots.
Stick a pitchfork in this witch
Coakley lives in the democrat bubble.
‘Marcia’ said,”Polls don’t matter”.
Wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles! I just got off the phone with my 88 year-old father; a died in the wool, life-long democrat who was born in and has lived in Mass for over 70 years. HE HAS NEVER VOTED FOR A REPUBLICAN NEVER. After polite chit chat about the NFL play off games I dared broach the subject and asked him if he was going to vote on Tuesday (every time politics have come up in the past he has berated me with tirades about those evil republicans). Well, he came right out and told me I AM going to vote on Tuesday and I am seriously thinking of voting for Scott Brown. Needless to say I was and am totally ASTONISHED ASTONISHED (I did not let him know in the least and kept my heart-felt joy and enthusiasm at his answer to my self so as to not scare him off)!
I tactfully asked him WHY he was going to vote for Brown and his answer was: Because of the healthcare bill Obama is trying to pass. I carefully agreed with him and reinforced the fact that Obama wants to gut Medicare/Medicaid by taking away 500 BILLION DOLLARS from the system and that if he adds 40 million people to the rolls, especially illegal aliens the health care system would collapse I told him that Brown is an honorable man and that he is totally opposed to the healthcare bill and would vote against it MY DAD AGREED! I was flabbergasted!
If my own father; a life-long Massachusetts FDR Democrat who has voted for EVERY Kennedy, Kerry/democrat to ever come down the pike, is going to vote for Scott Brown, a REPUBLICAN, BECAUSE OF HIS OPPOSITION TO Obama and his evil healthcare debacle then things are looking VERY promising for Scott Brown and we could all be in for an incredible victory on Tuesday. To this end I am fervently praying.
How idiotic! If she and her liberal comrades are so smart and wise why can’t they tell us what is in the bill. And what gives her and her comrades the credential to know and understand free markets, insurance etc..
Words cannot describe their arrogance!
>I can bet the people of Mass are wonder how they ever elected her AG.<
In another thread there was a video of some reporters stating that she won that with over 70% of the vote.
Apparently the dems thought she was a very strong candidate so they put her up against Brown and this was supposed to be no contest.
Now that there is a revolt on their hands, they can see that people are sick of their shenanigans what do they do?
They start talking about the nuclear option to pass health care.
They just don’t get it. Maybe one of our TRUE republican people like Michele Bachmann should take to the floor and explain to these dems what exactly happened in 1776 and WHY.
They apparently need a history lesson.
If they go on that nuclear option, pass health care with 51 or even 60 votes at this point, they must realize that they are going against the will of the people.
They MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR TYRANNY
This is the democrat party death throes.
Democrats seem still believe that expanding a health care entitlement will reduce costs. At least they claim it with a straight face. One lib here told me giving free health care to illegals would save money, used the emergency room argument. I explained that an illegal given free access to his (the lib's) own primary doctor and specialists but charged to him (as the taxpayer) would NOT be cheaper than the illegal waiting till it's too late.
The problem is the libs believe it's a moral argument and that the fiscal argument is immoral, but the polls say the voters are worried about the spending and deficit and taxes so they have to spin this crap.
it goes to show that once you get a Dem in front of the microphone and the republican does not bow down like so many do then the Dems go to bits
Her last statement of the interview is that she will “protect their taxpayer dollars”....not lower taxes...she’s just going to pocket them where she can “protect” them.
A bucket of water works MUCH better!
The particular combination of hubris mixed with idiocy is very potent these days. It seems to emanate from every pore of every DemonRat politician. It has a distinctly skunk-like odor. Long past time for them to go. This Tuesday would be a good time to start the process.
Stick a pitchfork in this witch
LOL's! in a great thread.
ever looked at a Dem crowd or rally
then look at a GOP one.
The difference is so big , The women in the Dem rally are ugly and have no clue how to dress while the women in the GOP are classy , stylish and sexy.
Yet again the boob belt comes out and yet again she as MO look hideous
She needs a teleprompter.
We all know what the real goal of government healthcare is - control over all aspects of Americans’ lives.
The sheeplibs, though, still try to make that “moral, we care more than you” argument, and completely dismiss all examples of government control and rationing that have occurred in all other countries where this has been tried.
“I found it kind of odd that she spoke before the president”
I read that after Clinton spoke, everyone started to leave before Coakley even started. Maybe they changed it so that people would have to listen to Coakley in order to hear Obama.
