This is absolutely brutal: Massachusetts Dems have dropped a mail piece accusing GOP Senate candidate Scott Brown of wanting hospitals to turn away “all” rape victims.
The mail piece — sent over by the Brown campaign — shows pictures of women who are supposed to have been raped, one of them in a wheelchair bent over with her head in her hands. It says: “1,736 WOMEN WERE RAPED IN MASSACHUSETTS IN 2008. SCOTT BROWN WANTS HOSPITALS TO TURN THEM ALL AWAY.”
The mailer — paid for by the Massachusetts Democratic Party — says the claim is based on “a law to let emergency hospitals turn away rape victims in need of emergency contraception.” That appears to be a reference to a Brown-sponsored 2005 amendment that would have exempted hospital personnel, on religious grounds, to inform victims of the availability of the morning after pill.

Desperation has set in for the Coakley campaign.
Brown should get out a letter saying that dims want more rape victims because it’s so hard to get a permit to carry a gun in MA.
Next ads will tell voters that Brown mails condoms to nuns and that he will send you a dollar if you break a church window.
The left is having a fit. they are seeing this election slip from their hands and they cant do anything but make up lies.
you know if the state has a fair media then they would point out how that is such a lie and what the bill really said .
They should also mention that if you have religious beliefs like catholics then maybe they should not work in the ER

Not true. But it is true that Coakley let a child molester out of jail without bail because he helped Coakley win the election to Attorney General.

that will cost them 2 independents for every pro-abortion zealot that they will get — and would have probably voted for coakley anyway.
Doesn't common sense read more like this:
"Scott Brown recognizes an individuals ethical and religious stance as an individual and he respects that" ?
I find this to be nothing less that hilarious. If this is all they got, they are screwed.
Surely the people of MA can see through this; CAN’T THEY? Please say “yes”.

It would all be funny if it wasn't so damn serious.
This is encouraging. I’ve been expecting a late hit by the Dems this weekend, and if this is all they can come up with, Brown has nothing to worry about from that quarter.

Nothing new here....except that I think Americans of all stripes are beginning to catch on to that fact.

And as Dorothy Rabinowitz pointed out in the Wall Street Journal, she tried to keep an innocent man in prison in the notorious Amirault Fells Acres child molester witchhunt case. What a piece of work she is.
I can’t wait for the returns to start coming in Tuesday evening...hopefully, it will be an event that we will all remember for the rest of our lives...the moment the tide turns on the US becoming socialist.
