Alec Baldwin’s Economic Advice: Forget Health Care and Destroy a Major Oil Company
NewsRealBlog ^ | Jan. 12, 2010 | Rhonda Robinson

Alec Baldwin, the hot-headed Hollywood leftist actor, has no problem sticking to the Alinsky script. In his latest Huffington Post blog, Baldwin suggests that the administration forget health care and focus on energy.

“The goal of this country’s energy policy, long-term, should be to trigger a series of events that would lead to one clear measurement of our progress. That is the collapse of a major oil company. If a major oil company went out of business, we would be on the right track.”

Still clinging to the tired “war over oil” line Baldwin continues:

“Energy policy is the lynch pin of nearly all of our other economic problems. And our dependence on oil is the tragic path that we are still on, two wars in the Middle East in twenty years later, in order to deliver oil. Oil that costs so much more than what you read at the pump. You factor in both of those wars, the deaths of our brave soldiers, and the looming bill that our society will have to pay for our lack of maturity, foresight and courage on this front, the costs are incalculable.”

Can we pick one that funds the Greenies like Royal Dutch Shell or BP?

Who cares about the opinion of this hack actor? Wasn’t he going to leave the country?

Why should anyone care what a French actor thinks?

Yes, lets “destroy a major oil company” and put all those hundreds of thousands of people who work for them, directly and indirectly, out of high paying jobs so we can give them welfare.................

Good Heavens, Baldwin thinks he’s still Jack Ryan.

PLAYBOY: Will you run for office?

BALDWIN: I’ll put it this way. The desire is there; that’s one component. The other component is opportunity. A law firm in a liberal Democratic bastion in Ohio state politics sent me a binder with a cover letter that read, “Mr. Baldwin, here’s who we represent, the kinds of cases we handle, our credentials in Ohio state politics. We want you to move to Ohio and run for governor. We will launch your career.”

PLAYBOY: Could you live in Ohio?

BALDWIN: I have sometimes thought I could move to New Jersey or Connecticut and run. I’d love to run against Joe Lieberman. I have no use for him. But it’s all fantasy. I’m a carry-me-out-in-a-box New Yorker. Here, anything can happen.

It’s absolutely amazing how stupid Alec Baldwin is. I’m surprised someone so breathtakingly insipid can remember lines on a script.

It would be much better to destroy a major Film Producer instead. The quickest way to do that is to bill Baldwin as the star.

We need to put a 95% tax on actors, entertainers, and athletes on any income over $1,000,000 a year. Hey if they can do it to the oil companies and corporate executives lets see how they feel when it is done to them.

OK...so we listen to Sir Alec Baldwin....

We go blow up all Citgo refineries and drill sites....wipe out their gas stations....

But Sir Alec would go ballistic if we destroyed his buddy’s (Hugo Chavez) oil company....

Man...I wish South Park The Movie was true.....the Canadians had, indeed, bombed the Baldwin mansion in Hollywood....

If a major Hollywood studio went out of business, we’d be on the right track.

We wouldn’t have to fight those wars if we were drilling our own.

King Abdullah heartily approves. In fact if we could kill off all our domestic oil production he would be overjoyed.

Big Oil is always slicker and one step ahead of this type of thinking.

Refined products will henceforth be imported from 'turd world Ubermassive, cheaply constructed, dangerous refineries with barefoot workers paid $35/week instead of $35/hour.

So in a sense he does get his wish as many refineries here will close.

Alec, you f##king idiot:
Without cheap, readily-available oil, people die...it’s as simple as that.
This week we will burn thousands of gallons of relatively cheap gas (a by-product of oil) to bring aid to those poor people in Haiti. The aid they will receive is paid for by the tax revenue generated by millions of Americans who travel to and from work in, you guessed it, oil dependant automobiles.
We can THANK those big, evil oil companies for providing the gas that powers our lives.
Alec, stick to what you know: acting, beating the hell out of your wife and emotionally abusing your daughter...

Baldwin needs to stick with what he knows-verbally abusing little girls.
