Poor Bill O’Reilly and Brit Hume. There they were on the O’Reilly show a few weeks ago, puzzling over why Barack Obama and the Democrats are doing so many things that are damaging to our country. Bill and Brit agreed that they couldn’t possibly be harming the nation intentionally, because negative voter reaction would redound to them politically and electorally. Can’t the Democrats see this? Did they suddenly get stupid politically? This is so unlike them. How to explain this anomaly? Poor Bill and Brit, and many others, indeed. It is time to think the unthinkable and speak the ineffable.
Thoroughly depressing. Brush up your Chinese and Arabic.
If this doesn’t work for the Democrats there should be trials ... if it does work then there surely will be trials.
I hope and pray that in the 2010 elections, conservative voter lines will wrap around the polling places numerous times. However, I guess I’m overly insulated in my red southern state conservative bubble, surrounded by likeminded friends. I was shocked at the answers of the five people in an Arkansas cafe that Griff Jenkins interviewed last night on FOX. I figured I’d hear some good zingers from conservative Arkansans. But when asked their opinion of the healthcare legislation, ALL of them were either ignorant or glibly answered, “We need to help the poor.”
One interviewee in the medical profession said she’s taking a wait-and-see-what’s-in-the-bill attitude. I wanted to shout, “We already KNOW enough of the bill. We don’t need to know more. Besides, even if we DIDN’T know, it’s the entire PREMISE that needs to be exposed!”
Please elaborate on the “counter.”
In the 1980’s, an ex-KGB officer and Russian defector, Yuri Bezmenov, did his absolute best to warn Americans about 1960’s radicals who were slowly converting America to a Marxist country using an overt process called “Ideological Subversion”.
It has nothing to do with a conspiracy theory or grand new world order. It is overt, out in the open, in your face (a la Bill Ayers, ACORN, SEIU, Barack Obama).
There are 4 stages to Ideological Subversion:
1. Demoralization (aka: “a slow march through the institutions”)
2. Destabilization (as in economic destabilization)
3. Crisis (we are at the beginning of this stage)
4. Normalization (which is anything but normal).
This progressive cancer has been growing over the last 40+ years and is close to destroying our country.

People need to realize that we got to this sorry point in our country’s history by design, not by accident.
The most troubling aspect of my analysis is that it represents the logical extension of irrefutable, objective facts. At least five of the six premises are no more and no less than observable Democrat behavior, and the other is a mild extrapolation at most. This is not good.
It’s over, America. We are now living under a proto-dictatorship in the United States. In less than a year, the full reification of it will be apparent to all. Have a nice day. R.I.P., U.S.A.
Professor Gaski's summation doesn't project into the possible responses to the conditions that he outlines. I wonder whether Fr. Hesburgh would've asked *those* questions?
This was written by perhaps a democrat? How can one tell? Easy, absolutely no hope whatsoever; only follow the party line is best.

This IS the summary of the US to this point under democrats’ rule.
I agree, we are not going to lay down and let the Dems wipe their feet on us.
I have been making calls for Scott Brown (R-MA) this week and they have been 3 to 1 in his favor.
One “life-long” Democrat said she felt “threatened” by Obama. She won’t switch parties, but she will vote for Brown, so that the Pubbies can “slow Obama down”
As you probably know, Brown was down by 30 pts. a month ago and Rasmussen has him down by 9 right now.
So we will fight this attempted coup. We have faced worse than Obama and ACORN in our 233 year history.

Apathetic for a while, but remember, in Communist dictatorships the percentage voting for the dictatorship is usually over 90%.
