Sounds like you are in the best of hands, Jeff. Both medically and spiritually. Keep the hope and faith positive and go step by step. My prayers for you each night continue.
Thanks bro. God bless ya! We were going to drive back for the next three weeks in Idaho through Armadillo (and call ya) but it looks like a storm so we are going north today up through KS. Gotta be back in Houston early in march for the operation.
You got a lot of people pulling for you, Jeff. Just keep that positive mental outlook going, and always stay in prayer with the Almighty. Miracles can and DO happen!
Drive safe.......:o)
Take care of yourself. We will be thinking of you an yours my friend.
As usual we hold you up to the Master Jeff...
Hang in there!!!!
Extra Prayers Up!
Many prayers for you Jeff!
Stay strong, Jeff. We will supply the prayers.
Thank you for keeping us informed. May God continue to keep you safe and sound. You're a good man.
You are continually in my prayers, Jeff. God is great, and He holds you in His hands.
I am praying for you and Gail, that your strength and courage will not falter. I pray for the success of your surgery and of your rehab. I pray for Dr. Rhines and his expert staff, to have the wisdom and knowledge to attack the cancer and kill it.
I pray that in the interim God will give you the peace that surpasses all understanding. I wish you brightness and warmth in your daily activities, and deep peaceful sleep at night.
May God hold you and Gail in the palm of his hand through these next few months and always.
Thanks for the update, Jeff. It’s humbling that you take the time and effort to keep us so well-informed of your situation. Your doctor(s) and MD Anderson sound, truly, like the best of the best. May God continue to show you the path to recovery. As always, our prayers go with you.
My continued thoughts and prayers go with you Jeff. Stay strong!
It cannot cripple Love
It cannot shatter Hope
It cannot corrode Faith
It cannot destroy Peace
It cannot kill Friendship
It cannot suppress Memories
It cannot silence Courage
It cannot invade the Soul
It cannot steal Eternal Life
It cannot conquer the Spirit.

Jeff... you are an inspiration indeed. My prayers continue. And Dolly... thank you.
Jeff, thank you for the update.
I am praying that the CIR method would receive a favorable report from Dr. Rhines’ contacts in Japan.
Your analogy of Paul and Ananias was very touching concerning you and Dr. Rhines. I am always amazed that the Biblical accounts says that Ananias is told to go to the street called Straight in Damascus to find Paul. Jesus knew the name of the very street where His servant Saul, soon to become Paul, was located, so Ananias could find him.
In the same manner, Jesus knows the most intimate detail of what is going on with His servant, Jeff Head.
Dr. Rhines’ name has a meaning, too:
“The name Rhine originates from the Indo-European root “reie,” meaning to flow. The closest literal translation of the word is “raging flow.””
I have prayed that a “raging flow” of healing would flow through Dr. Rhines’ hands to your body, Jeff.
I have also prayed for your wife, Gail, who is your strength when you are weak. A loving God designed marriage just for times like this, when one cannot walk without the other. She sounds like a terrific woman, and I am sure you would be the first to agree.
I would encourage all Freepers to join in prayer for you, Gail and Dr. Rhines. A rope of three cords is not easily broken, the Bible says. When you add the power of the Holy Spirit, that is a rope that will not yield.
We are with you, Jeff, on this journey that our Father has planned for you. May He bless you, Gail, and Dr. Rhines as you travel it.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for Jeff, his wife and Dr. Rhines.
Jeff’s faith in You and Dr. Rhines’ open-minded, informative,
direct approach and a doctor who has faith in You — that’s a good thing.
Please continue to watch over Jeff as he continues on his path in life.
In Jesus’ Holy Name I pray this prayer of thanks.
Amen.
"One aside. during the conversation I indicated to the Dr. that I had what might be a personal question for him. I indicated that since he would undoubtedly through this process get to know me personally, inside and out, and particularly anatomically, better than almost anyone I know, I had a question for him. He told me to go ahead and so I asked him if he was a man of faith who believed in God. He said he was."
Thank You, Lord! That brought tears to my eyes.
Praying that you and Gail and everything pertaining to your health and well being continue to be kept close within the blessings of God's loving, merciful, providential care and guidance for the very best outcome, Jeff.
Praying also for guidance about the CIR treatment. God knows all things, of course. He knows the result of the decision to follow that path. I agree with you that you were brought to Dr. Rhines for a purpose. May God bless Dr. Rhines, and those with whom he discusses the treatment on your behalf, to come to the the wisest and most beneficial decision for your restoration of good health.
Prayers continue for Jeff!
Thank you for the update on this Faithful FRiend!
