Father we pray for our friend Jeff. May he find your perfect peace as he continues to trust you with his life. Give the surgeons and medical personnel wisdom and perfect skill in treating him. Please keep him close to your heart as his body responds to treatments and to surgery. Help us to love him as our brother and give support and strength to wife Gail and their large and loving family. In the name of our Savior and Creator. Amen.
Praying that G-d gives you a complete healing and a return to full health.
If there is any way one of your loved ones can get and read Suzanne Somers’s new book “Knockout,” do it. It’s not what you think, a ditzy actress pretending to be an expert. It’s a collection of interviews with MDs who have done remarkable work fighting cancer. I would be sinning greatly not to mention this book and push anyone dealing with cancer to read it. There may be a word of wisdom from any one of these doctors in there that may save a life.

Jeff, this post of yours is so inspirational, I think of what you said about love daily. We all love YOU so much. I pray for you and your family. Get well friend, we can sure use your kind down here for a while longer.

Clearly, Jeff's faith has been rewarded. I pray that the Holy Spirit continue to preserve and strengthen Jeff's faith, and that God likewise keeps his family under His protection.
He (Jeff) is right, about the power of love. His public message to his children is worth pondering for our own lives - we take so much for granted, and probably too easily bristle at unimportant events.
Jeff, Gail - you and your family are in my prayers as well.

Jeff Head Update for 4/29/10

I really don’t know how to do this and am sure I’m not posting in the right place but I know one of you will recognize that and maybe fix it for me.
Just got a call from my Mom and my Dad is out of surgery, they had minor complications requiring a blood transfusion but he is stable. They will be going back in next week for a 3rd surgery that will only be about 3 hours long to finish the bone graft. They are keeping him inundated until tomorrow evening. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
