He thinks jobs are created by a piece of paper. I wonder if he knows where Debits and Credits go?

Translation...he doesn’t want to have the HCR passed by the State of the Union because of it’s unpopularity. He’d have to talk about it in the State of the Union, if it passed, and he’d see his numbers fall even more.

Jobs are so hard to get in my area that only one fast-food place has a sign reading, Help Wanted. As soon as I saw that sign, I called my church and asked the secretary to pass the word.

2010 plan calling for an early focus on creating jobs

The only jobs government can create are government jobs that don't produce anything - they consume. They hurt more than help.

(Starve the beast, Join Operation Thrift. We can live without Washington's money, but Washington can't live without ours.)

This is good news. I suspected this when the Senate announced a three-week break. This makes it harder for them to get it passed. They have more arms and legs to break.

Translation: Obama is neutered.

Doesn’t mean we can quit, but means we are winning.

Obama squandered his substantial political capital on the disastrous healthcare tyranny plan, which now amounts to a massive insurance company and trial lawyer subsidy, supported by taxes on the poor and middle class (i.e. forced insurance buying).

It will be amusing when the people figure out they have to pay, directly and dearly, for what they expected would be “free” government healthcare.

This is a bluff, IMHO.

We have been assured by pundits all along that there was no way the “health care” bill would have gotten this far, either in the House or the Senate. But they were wrong on that, and they’re wrong on this, too. It’s all a ploy to make us lose focus.

If the bill were to pass before the SOTU address, he would undoubtedly would sign it. As soon as he signs the bill, anyone affected by the bill would have standing to challenge the constitutionality of the bill - INCLUDING THE QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PRESIDENT TO HOLD OFFICE (birth certificate). If lawsuits are filed before the SOTU, the administration would have to answer the press’ questions regarding the suits.

Ask them why they HATE Seniors, Veterans and retired Military!

local contact and fax numbers for Senators (demwits)

Email them but the Phone is the best route.

Remind them that obamanationcare effects EVERY ONE!

VA cuts, retired Military..Tri Care for Life (nearly $5,000 in new fees) 8% cut in Medicare, increased premiums, 15% cut to nursing homes and for Pete's sake why are we creating a new tax on special needs kids?

bill would REDUCE SENIOR Medicare

Health-Care Reform 2009

Report: Bill would reduce senior care Medicare cuts approved by House may affect access to providers

Lori Montgomery

Washington Post Staff Writer
Sunday, November 15, 2009

A plan to slash more than $500 billion from future Medicare spending -- one of the biggest sources of funding for President Obama's proposed overhaul of the nation's health-care system -- would sharply reduce benefits for some senior citizens and could jeopardize access to care for millions of others, according to a government evaluation released Saturday.

The report, requested by House Republicans, found that Medicare cuts contained in the health package approved by the House on Nov. 7 are likely to prove so costly to hospitals and nursing homes that they could stop taking Medicare altogether.

AND if you are Retired Military on Tri Care for Life, which many Millions are, you are in for a nearly $5,000 NEW fee along with the increased premiums for the REDUCED Medicare benefits.

bill would Introduce NEW nearly $5,000 fee to TRL

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollee’s cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.)
