What gave you the idea there is celebration in America over this.

Or are you refering to belated recognition of what their celebration in January actually led to?

You don’t stop doing what’s working because you lose a fight.

I’m all for opening new fronts and doing more. But I’m very against scrapping what’s working.

Another point: If you tell all those millions who organized for tea parties that their effort was wasted.. you’re not helping - and it’s not true.

Seriously.

This is a good suggestion. But I would also suggest that people bookmark this page and use it as a base to write letters to the editors of the dying newspapers. Maybe some people will wake up. (Use the same tactics as the left!)

Lieberman was good on the war, but don’t EVER look to him to take the lead on anything. He got in as the lesser of two evils last time (Ned Lemont made Howard Dean look moderate) and because the GOP basically conceded. But, for all his bluster and deliberation at the end of the day he’ll vote with Reid 99% of the time.

So much for tea parties, calls to Washington and town hall meetings. The die was cast when this Marxist was elected.

Well said!

This is a dangerous moment for conservatism. If people give in to despair and desperation, then yes — all the hard work is ruined.

“If you tell all those millions who organized for tea parties that their effort was wasted.. you’re not helping - and it’s not true.”

Right. The real goal was a one-two-punch.

Phase 1 — healthcare.
Phase 2 — immigration reform.

The goal was to pass healthcare first, because immigration reform makes it more expensive.

They were stopped in their tracks!

Imagine if illegal immigrants were given the right to vote in 2010 AFTER healthcare reform. They would have been in the left’s hip pocket.

They had a contingency plan as well, a delay in allowing immigrants to vote, but there would still be that looming over politicians’ heads, the need to ‘hispander’ like never before.

Both, the celebration in January and the celebration by the Dems who are so beholden to “We won” that they can’t see how they and the American people lost.

If they are strong, use weakness against them.
If they are big, use small and mobile.
Hide and lie still in the tall grass, waiting.
He who has the will wins.

And they who have done this in darkness and on a day of villany will see their careers ended in contempt, along with those they mentor and sponsor.

They who only spew Consitutional authority to move forward with these acts while ignoring justice have now sown loathing for their family names. What goes around comes around.

Steel-toed boots and shovels belong to those who know it’s balls to the wall. The fight is here.

I sincerely believe that these acts of Congress are intolerable and that violent resistance and revolt are now justified. Justifiable measures would include physically preventing lawmakers from conducting a vote. How many people would it take to surround the Capitol and take a stand? Might we still lose this battle? Sure. But we must begin, nevertheless.

He's generally supported the war on terror, and helped defeat some of the Dims defunding attempts. But that's all.

Yes, he supports continuing and expanding the worsening Afghan quagmire. He also wants to continue to pour billions into the Middle East to aid Israel and Arab dictatorships such as Egypt. Why are these twin assaults on the American taxpayer "good?"

That sure depends a lot on leftist dems.

Some of it is possible, if the dems go by the rules and follow the Constitution.

I don't expect them to start now.

"Progressives", MoveOn, unions, etc; talk as they will I don't have much faith in them killing this bill.

I doesn't matter if it is stripped of abortion coverage, public optiton etc it's about the power given to the government.

All it needs to do is pass and the leftists will eventually get what ever they want.

Good luck though, I hope his plan works.

Here's a question I'd like to have answered.

If the gov’t will use my tax dollars to fund abortion, and that is directly against my religion, isn't that gov’t not allowing me to adhere to my religious beliefs, and, therefore against my basic human rights?

And isn't that anathema to our country's founding and constitution?

Can I stop paying my taxes if this occurs? How could I be prosecuted? The Supreme court must rule in my favor?

Mustn’t they?
