There are many kinds of truth. Al Gore was poleaxed by an inconvenient one yesterday.
The former US Vice-President, who became an unlikely figurehead for the green movement after narrating the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, became entangled in a new climate change “spin” row.
Mr Gore, speaking at the Copenhagen climate change summit, stated the latest research showed that the Arctic could be completely ice-free in five years.
In his speech, Mr Gore told the conference: “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.”
However, the climatologist whose work Mr Gore was relying upon dropped the former Vice-President in the water with an icy blast.
“It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,” Dr Maslowski said. “I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this.”
Mr Gore’s office later admitted that the 75 per cent figure was one used by Dr Maslowksi as a “ballpark figure” several years ago in a conversation with Mr Gore.

Evidently, you never looked at what actually happened to the Arctic ice after Al Gore threatened that the Northwest Passage was going to reopen. The ice got noticeably larger and thicker, and there was ABSOLUTELY NO CORRELATION TO HIS PREDICTIONS. THEY WERE AND ARE FALSE, FALSE, FALSE. Just LOOK at the damn EVIDENCE!!!!!!!!!

Well, that’s what Lord Monckton says, in that he believes the figures which are presented showing that there is Global Warming. And I would agree with Lord Monckton. There’s been Global Warming in the past and there’s no reason why there can’t be Global Warming in the future either.
The thing that he disputes (and likewise with me) is that there is no case for “Anthropogenic Global Warming”...
The center of the earth is estimated to actually be between only 4,000 and 7,000 degrees.

Nope, not making it up. It's in his video that he sells, right along with the other video documentary that I presented (The Great Global Warming Swindle). Lord Monckton is selling both of those on a website that he references.
The video that he made and sells, says this very thing... that I just said. He says that he does not dispute that Global Warming has been happening. He makes a point of saying that he does not believe the "Anthropogenic Global Warming" is happening.
It's right on the video that I have from him... :-)

Lord Monckton's own video that he produces and sells, says that right in it. He's got it on this page to sell if you want to view it. You'll see him say it there... anyone can verify it... :-)
I just saw it again last night and I can affirm that once more. But, please..., do look for yourself and see what he says...

And I just gave you a video, and the reference for getting that video (which I have) -- which he makes and sells himself where he says that he agrees with those who say that we have had Global Warming and he does not dispute that. He says he disputes "Anthropogenic Global Warming"...
You may want to write to Lord Monckton and ask him if he goes by the one statement or the other... :-)
