Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site

Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site... or so they say... and they might even be right.

We don't go for any of that godless left-wing big government socialist malarkey. And we do put our faith and trust in God, not government. We are pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Country and pro-Liberty.

We do not believe that government or science knows what's best for us or our children. We will make our own decisions thank you very much.

Every once in a while some group of posters get together and try to bend Free Republic to their will. Now, we tend to be pretty free-wheeling around here and will take a lot of guff and a lot of obnoxious insults from a lot of people, but eventually a breaking point is reached.

For example, when a group of RINO lovers recently banded together to try to force FR to accept an abortionist/gay rights RINO as our presidential candidate, they soon found themselves on the outs.

And a few years ago a group of evolutionists tried to force FR over to their way of thinking and they soon found themselves on the outs.

FR is a pro-God, pro-Creator, pro-Life, pro-Liberty site.

And now we have yet another group of Darwinists trying to have their Darwinist way with us. Well, as I've said before what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger.

Darwin Central has again declared war on FR. They have ping lists and email lists and will try to pull away as many FReepers as they possibly can. So be it. Those who would rather go with Darwin, please go. I sure as hell won't try to stop you.

FR will remain a pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-Creator conservative site.

We wholeheartedly believe that our unalienable rights are a gift from God our Creator not from man or government. And no man, no government will ever deprive us of same.

Keep your powder dry.

Wait, this is all based on species within the finch?

So it could be said that races are the same with the finch theory, right? I mean if you put a mongoloid on an island with a negroid, eventually they would breed their own race. This would not make them NON-human.

The part that I don’t understand is how we went from bacteria, to blobby fish, to upright humans.

This finch thing has thrown a loop into what little I was accepting on evolution on a large scale. Now it makes even less sense!

It does work the best that way.

I agree with all the stated aims, Jim, but I still wish you’d take Romney off of every post. It’s self-defeating because everyone begins to ignore it and be annoyed by it.

I’m curious as to how the creationists would answer the question - were Adam and Eve white or black? If God created white people first, does that mean he loves them most?

Ask and ye shall receive :)

They (creationists) have already answered that question.

The Origin of the Human Races.

P.S. Answers in Genesis is a creationist site just so you know.

Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site.

In this day and age, and after daily review of so many reports that I draw near to surmise nearly every institution in what we used to know as America is now led by corruption (not criminality, but a corrupted spirit), I would take such an accusation, at face value, as an unintended complement.

The use of the term 'fringe' in this context is similar to how a rapper references every friend as a 'cousin', a 'brother', or a 'b*tch'. Its the type of language used by a b*tch to describe another 'b*tch', thinking the label is a complement, but in this case, thinking 'fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site', is an insult in the eyes of the liberal secularist, the term is actually a complement in the eyes of a contrite, humble, believer who respects righteousness and justice from God's perspective, rather than our personal perspective independent of Him.

“I stay away from those kinds of “interesting” questions because they have nothing to do with grace and salvation.”

While I agree that skin color of Adam and Eve have nothing to do with salvation, a literal Adam and Eve have alot to do with salvation. I think the poster was trying to mock a belief in a literal Adam and Eve and that is why I answered.

Romans 5: 12-21
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

No. They would breed fertile humans. Just as the have all over the world. They might have adaptations like “negroids” who live in desert climates where their skin color protects them from the hot sun, or in the north countries, where “whitey” needs light skin to absorb sunlight for vitamin D, but they are still humans.

Well I’m right wing, and I’m about as Christian fundamentalist as it gets-Lester Roloff is one of heroes (and I was in one of the girl homes, so I know the inside scoop—the people who say he abused children are liars), so there it is.

Well, they would be a different species within the animal classification I’d assume (regarding the big cat).

But say a poodle and a cocker spaniel breed, that new breed within the dog species doesn’t make them a wolf, right?

I promise, I am not being argumentative or intentionally obtuse, but these are questions I’ve never had answered really and I start to think maybe it IS me. Maybe I am just too dull to grasp it. And then that leaves me to ‘leaving it to the scientists’, but it still doesn’t answer my basic questions that nag. I mostly leave this subject alone to ‘I just have NO IDEA’ until the subject comes up. As it has now.

Amen. We do not use the term “race”. We use the phrase “people group”.

Right! I am made up of lots of bacteria. While some apparently ignorant bacteria lingers in germ form, mine has managed to gather together to do a whole lot of magnificent things!
