Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site

Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site... or so they say... and they might even be right.
We don't go for any of that godless left-wing big government socialist malarkey. And we do put our faith and trust in God, not government. We are pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Country and pro-Liberty.
We do not believe that government or science knows what's best for us or our children. We will make our own decisions thank you very much.
Every once in a while some group of posters get together and try to bend Free Republic to their will. Now, we tend to be pretty free-wheeling around here and will take a lot of guff and a lot of obnoxious insults from a lot of people, but eventually a breaking point is reached.
For example, when a group of RINO lovers recently banded together to try to force FR to accept an abortionist/gay rights RINO as our presidential candidate, they soon found themselves on the outs.
And a few years ago a group of evolutionists tried to force FR over to their way of thinking and they soon found themselves on the outs.
FR is a pro-God, pro-Creator, pro-Life, pro-Liberty site.
And now we have yet another group of Darwinists trying to have their Darwinist way with us. Well, as I've said before what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger.
Darwin Central has again declared war on FR. They have ping lists and email lists and will try to pull away as many FReepers as they possibly can. So be it. Those who would rather go with Darwin, please go. I sure as hell won't try to stop you.
FR will remain a pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-Creator conservative site.
We wholeheartedly believe that our unalienable rights are a gift from God our Creator not from man or government. And no man, no government will ever deprive us of same.
Keep your powder dry.

Do you really think that the framers of the Constitution would endorse the idea of the President overturning the laws of the states simply by issuing a statement that he considered them invalid? That doesn't answer my question. Please show me where the Founding Fathers give that power to unelected judges.
I have no more desire to live according to the whims of a conservative autocrat than a liberal one.
America has been living according to the whims of autocrats since 1933.
And if you're going to bring up the Fourteenth Amendment, that's one I'd repeal in a shot if I could.
So, you DON'T believe that everyone should have equal protection under the law?

That is a good explaination. Of course we will have to agree to disagree but I can see better where you are coming from. Blessings.

You might just know Fred. He's mad at me after Pebbles' 21st birthday party.
Has a right to be.

I got one of those once back in Arizona. My Boss in LA was quite clear. It was a welcome correction.
Random Thoughts:
I think it pretty sad that members of one religion sit and attack members of another religion and then dare to attempt to carry the mantle of righteousness.
Are there no boundaries when it comes to self-restraint?

We should make her a member of the Flying Inmans! (Sarah) We should make her a member of the Flying Inmans!
She would be an ideal candidate, given the treatment she has undergone at the hands of the Romney minions!

When did this happen? I remember lots of discussion once upon a time between freepers who supported various candidates for the nomination etc., but when did somebody try to use anything more than persuasion? Was there some threat made against your person JR? This is pretty serious stuff. What did they do to try and force FR to the left?

I wish you wouldn't insist on arguing about this
Show me what I said that made you assume I'm arguing. Is just reading it so offensive to you, that you take it as an argument because of inner feelings and then react?
The "new testament" is what chr*stians believe. It is not "obviously" or "self-evidently" true.
It is to those who eyes are open, void of scales, and have ears to hear.
Non-Jews are under the Seven Commandments of the Sons of Noach. No choice about it. It is simply G-d's decree. If you don't like it, take it up with Him.
There is a choice! To accept Truth or reject it. God's decree is His Written Word in it's entirely. You don't agree w/that - so your knowledge is sliced in half.
The purpose of the Torah is not to pay Adam's sin debt or enable one to "go to Heaven."
Why the need to twist what I said? I said the purpose of JESUS was to pay the sin debt for ALL and for us to regain fellowship w/God. And I praise and thank HIM for it.
Jesus, the spotless Lamb, came to fulfill the law for us. ..........The claim of chr*stianity. Not self-evidently true.
Again, only those with eyes w/o scales and ears to hear know that Truth. Denying it will never make it not TRUE! NO ONE can take away that Truth. It is done, it is finished!
Until Martin Luther and John Calvin came along even chr*stianity didn't see things this way (Eastern Orthodoxy rejects the idea of the "blood atonement," ...
Not until ML/JC came along! LOL! Go back to Peter, Paul, The Acts, The Last Supper, etc. - get a grip w/honesty. If you don't believe the New Testament, wouldn't it be more to your credit to say you don't know or believe something instead of bringing up deception - like it was known until..... It was spoken of in the Old Testament. The 'offerings' of the old where blood offerings for sin - a foreshadow of things to come. Again, the old and new - ONE BIBLE!
Evangelical Protestantism to Orthodox Jews.
Not interested in seeing what one has to say to the other. The Word of God is all I need.
The only reason this world was created was so Israel could keep the Torah.
That's too funny! But I will not respond to it because I love Israel and wouldn't want to say anything about your thinking and have it taint Israel in any way!
I'm done. The victory is mine, says The Lord! I'll go in peace and praise Him.

He is talking about Rudy.

So how did Rudy try to force FR to be a lefty site?

You must be, since you asked about it twice and I told you both times.
I may try to find it for you a little later, but I'm having computer difficulties with you right now.

More truth for you - I wasn't arguing. I asked you to show me where you THINK I was. No response to that - just another accusation. Why is it you call my posts preaching - what do you "there is no choice' call yours?
Thin skinned comes to mind.

People on FR supported Rudy and abortion. It’s not that hard if you think about it.
