Bill Press: Beck a 'Ticking Time Bomb'; Warns Ailes Will 'Be Sorry' They Gave Him a Show

Glenn Beck - he has one of the highest-rated shows on the top cable news network. He's had a number of bestselling books and he's called attention to some unsavory characters working in the Obama administration. Yet - he's somehow considered to be a risky business decision for the powers in charge at Fox News.

On CNN's Nov. 29 "Reliable Sources," host Howard Kurtz pointed out Glenn Beck accusing Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., of "hooking" for the so-called $300 million "Louisiana Purchase" provision of the health care bill.

"He's talking there about Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu, who did get a provision in order to get her support for breaking the filibuster on the health care bill - $300 million for Louisiana," Kurtz said. "He said she was ‘hooking,' basically called her a prostitute."

When Bill Press makes such statements about Beck and fails to say anything about the hatred and venom constantly spewed by Matthews and Olberman, well, Press make himself look like a shamless, partisan hack, or an unobservant fool who's too uninformed to have a public forum.

As usual, liberals like Press are frightened by their own poorly controlled hate-filled impulses, and they project fear of losing their own control onto the hated other. This is a particular and distinctive characteristic of the leftist generally. It is a brittle defense mechanism and it's failure accounts for the outbursts of hate and obscenity levelled at, for example , Sarah Palin, Rush, and of course Glen Beck.

Since Beck got a phone for them to correct him they have stopped saying he lies.

Beck putting the "Red Phone" on his show and giving the number to the White Hut was and excellent manuver! He challenged them and they couldn't counter!
