I understand most Palin supporters have already handed her the '12 nomination, but a primary can be unpredictable and bruising. My question is, what will you do if for some reason Sarah does not win the '12 pub nomination? Stay home, vote 3rd party or support the nominee (if it is one of todays potential but established candidates)?
This is a "what if" question. If you don't have the capacity to contemplate a Palin primary loss then please find another thread on which to slobber and slander (although I seriously doubt this request will be honored).
Ditto
LOL
Like I said, I won’t be manipulated and it includes your childish little insults.
Who says we have to accept what the RNC wants? This isn’t about the RNC or whoever the f’ing media picks as our canidate. This is about us-real conservatives. We’ll draft and screw the RNC.
A better question would be
Why do those on FR who support Libertarians (Third Party candidates) knowing they receive around 3% of the vote
assist Marxist Obama in a 2nd term
I’m quite happy to see little slobbering and only token slandering!
Weird!
That might make a better question, but the target here isn’t libertarians.
Are you saying that people who openly state for a fact that they will stay home or vote third party are merely “blowing off steam”?
Sorry, I was under the impression they were telling us what they intend to do. If they are only joking they should so state.
Sarah ultimately endorse someone. I cannot imagine her telling people to stay home or vote third party.
We’ve had some very, very tight presidential races in recent years. I blame people who refused to vote for McCain to be rerponsible for Obama.
Enjoy Obama ...
Of course I want to get rid of Obama as much as you do, but I don’t want to get rid of one sack of crap and replace him with another sack of crap. We are all pretty screwed if that is what we have to look forward to. I really really hope the GOP in the next year finally gets it, I really do. So let’s pretend its Romney against Obama and Romney wins, fine, he is just like Obama on the issues, so what are we gaining here, absolutely nothing, except we have a Republican in the White House, another big government Republican we will have to fight anyway. I want someone to face Obama that we can cheer for, someone that if that person won, we would have something different, not more of the same garbage Obama is giving us. I want a Reagan Conservative, if you expect me to get excited about Romney, it’s not gonna happen, unless he changes his ways
Really. I blame those who actually voted for Obama.
I dunno, it just seems to make more sense.
Easy: it's because the Republican candidates want blanket amnesty for illegals, cap and trade, the closing of gitmo, and the bailouts of crooks, thieves and idiots on wall street.
I have a question for you, why would you support a candidate that wants amnesty for illegals, cap and trade, the closing of gitmo and endless bailouts of crooks, thieves and idiots?
It should be as well as liberals
If Palin chooses to run, barring some some health or other non-political act of God, she’ll win the nomination. All the energy is with her waiting supporters. She’d quickly pick up all the branches of the GOP except the establishment RINOs and as the most vetted candidate in history there won’t be any surprises to derail her. The better question is what to do if she decides not to run in 2012. The answers are similar to those up thread, but the process of getting there is different, with the key variables being when she’d bow out and whether she endorses anyone.
In my district we have a good firm conservative republican running in the congressional primary. Unfortunately the NRCC has taken it upon themselves to recruit a (admitted) carpetbagger to run against him. Apparently we can’t be trusted to vote for someone who puts the party before the people he or she is supposed to represent.
Its that kind of manipulation that is causing GOP losses. Attacking conservative voters for making a stand against it takes some awfully twisted logic.
You got a thread pulled while spouting a holier than thou attitude about it. It was a beer and babes thread. Not exactly G rated, but myself and others did not think it was over the top. You did mention your time here and you came off as a jerk.
My post was mostly tongue in cheek, but you took it the wrong way. Reading your post about drooling and babbling reinforces my opinion about your attitude. (Which you are certainly entitled to by the way)
Keep endorsing the country club elite and be prepared for four more years of Hope and Change
First, Sarah Palin is not one of those candidates.
Romney, Pawlenty, Huckabee and others like them will never
be the candidates, not only will they not win the needed primaries but they don’t have they wide spread support.
It is all moot.
I’ll vote against Obama.
It depends on several things.
1. If the GOP has the House and the Senate back by 2012, and Romney or Huck are our nominee, I have no problem giving Obama a 2nd term with a GOP House and Senate.
2. If we don’t have the House and the Senate, and Romney or Huck are our nominee, I will vote for either of them.
Bottom line: I do NOT trust Romney or Huck with a GOP majority, as both of them are the type that will run with that power and grow government.
But as you've noticed some here seem to harbor a special resentment for the more passionate conservatives among us.
Its odd.
If she doesn’t win the nomination, then I hope the nominee is just as conservative and principled as she. I will not support another moderate republican nominee.
