This is three days in a row now that guests and the hosts on FoxNews have said her future does not lie in politics, but Television, even now talking about her as a replacement for Oprah. This really ticks me off. These people are so condecending of Sarah, and therefore me.
Have you guys been noticing this. FoxNews is continually telling everyone she is not fit to be president, I say BS ...
Let’s me be as brutally honest as we can be.
This is to you adults. Think about what you are doing for a living now or what you aspire to do. Why do you feel that way?
Could it be because you are inclined that way or good at that particular endeavor or enterprise.
People GRAVITATE to certain professions or callings because quite simply they can make a living at it or feel compelled to do it.
Sure Sarah could go Hollywood and become the ultimate celebrity but apparently she is not going to do that. Why? it’s not in her DNA. This is not her ultimate goal or ambition in life. It is not what makes Sarah get out of bed in the morning.
Obama, eat your heart out.
The concern that other posters are expressing is that you spoke in generalities, particularly blaming “Fox News” rather than any individual who made offending comments.
There are many people of many opinions on the Fox News Channel.
Generalities and opinions are fine in comments, but you started a vanity thread with a generality. That’s why you’re getting slammed.
I didn’t know anyone watched Fox on weekend mornings. Learn something new every day.
Your sources might be better than mine, but I'm pretty sure it was his great-great aunt.
FOX News backs Romney. For the most part. They are NYC Liberal Republicans.
She has presence.
You either HAVE presence, or you don't. She obviously does. In fact I found it quite amusing how tiny & puny that billionairess Oprah appeared in comparison to the solid presence of Governor Palin. Reminded me of how stoopid that little Katie Couric who thinks she's just so gosh darn cute, how she looked last year while trying to trip up a particular interviewee.
My husband didn’t hear anything about a tv talk show, but when I first got up he said Fox had a survey about who people would want to have coffee with, Sarah or Hillary. He said Hillary won, about 42% to 39%. I don’t care if it was on Fox, I don’t believe it. I wonder how many took that survey anyway.
I was surprised when BOR actually stood up for Sarah (although not forcefully) when he was discussing her responses with the “liberal woman” (don’t know who she was) who was using every liberal meme against Sarah—
Sarah was relaxed and easy going on BOR’s show. She didn’t answer a single question with “present”. She didn’t dither. She gave general answers because they were general questions. She didn’t give complex detailed precise answers BECAUSE SHE DIDN’T NEED TO—good grief, it was a quick Q&A session, not a planning session for the Pentagon on how to win the war on terror. LOL. People are so afraid of Sarah—makes me like her even more! :-)
LOL!
Thank you!! Seemed like allison was having a fit this morning because Sarah didn't have a game plan to win Afganistan!!!
I'm wondering if the Fox people got some kind of marching orders.
The guests and hosts on FOX who are saying this are obviously watching too much CNN, MSNBC and other ‘state-run’ media channels. They seem to be towing the line.
Well that's silly. If you can't separate your own identity from that of Sarah Palin, you have a problem. And I'll add that such silly thinking is what is responsible many of the sustained conflicts between groups around the world. An insult to one group member is seen by some other in the group as an attack on them personally. It's the basis of all sorts of violence.
And it's hardly an insult to suggest that Palin might replace someone as successful and influential as Oprah.
No, I didn’t hear it because I keep them on mute. Why I even bother tuning in is beyond me. She’s a big lib who in my opinion offers nothing. Gretchen will be interviewing Sarah this week in Florida.
I’m going to be honest here...I know a lot of Republicans who consider themselves to be conservatives who will not vote for Sarah for president.
I also know that I got turned away at her book signing because of the crowd. At this point it’s just too early to speculate, and I say good luck to her on her book tour. If nothing else, I hope the support she’s receiving helps her family begin to heal from the massive, unprecendented, and wholly wrong assault they endured from the campaign.
I saw Tucker Carlson say that, too. I love Sarah but I don’t think think a talk show would be the right fit for her. Indeed, I think even suggesting it is demeaning to her. I do agree with Tucker that she should quit with the sexist charges, though. They try to victimize her but she has risen above it. She is strong & has accomplshed much. She is not a victim & should not give the impression that she may feel like one. She can leave the complaining to us. We love her honesty but she probably would be wise to deflect some questions about Ricky Hollywood, Newsweek covers, etc....... just my .02.
Who is the “they”????
yea.... someone that draws 40,000 people just to hear her speak... yea... she’s not someone people would listen to or follow
/sarc
the liberals and the rinos FEAR a conservative uprising to take back the country, therefore they will attack ANYONE that would help advanced the conservative cause
Sarah will need people to help keep her safe as we get closer to elections. and once elected, even more so
" because Sarah didn't have give a game plan to win Afganistan!!!
