Setting the people up to die: A conspiracy of silence about swine flu natural remedies
Natural News ^ | August 26, 2009 | Mike Adams

Posted on 11/13/2009 8:44:59 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

It's emblazoned across the front page of USA Today, just underneath a subhead declaring Michael Jackson was, indeed, killed by a drug overdose: "Flu could infect half of USA." The article goes on to describe the predicted number of deaths expected in the U.S. (30,000 - 90,000 Americans) as well as the actions being taken by the government to protect Americans from the coming swine flu pandemic.

That advice reads sort of like a comic book of health care advice for kindergarteners: Wash your hands, cover your mouth if you cough and let "the grownups" take care of the rest by injecting you with a vaccine. Curiously absent from all the health advice being handed out on the swine flu by the White House, the CDC, the WHO and even the FDA is any mention of Vitamin D or other natural remedies that offer enormous protections from influenza infections.

The absence of this information from virtually all the advice being handed out to the American public is increasingly suspicious. If a pandemic flu is, indeed, threatening to infect half the U.S. population, and if most of the population is deficient in a nutrient known to strongly prevent influenza infections, wouldn't it make good sense to make a few announcements encouraging Americans to raise their vitamin D levels throughout the coming winter?

It is a well-known medical fact, of course, that influenza always gets worse during the winter months North of the equator and the summer months South of the equator (which are really called their "winter" months). This is because as sunlight hours lessen during the winter, the people living there become vitamin D deficient and are susceptible to influenza infections of all kinds.

The information resources backing this are easy to find. Even our own NaturalPedia.com website reveals a large amount of information on natural defenses against influenza (http://www.naturalpedia.com/influen...). NaturalNews.com, of course, offers a wealth of articles on Vitamin D (http://www.naturalnews.com/vitamin_...).

In the realm of peer-reviewed medical literature, searching Google Scholar for "influenza" and "vitamin D" returns tens of thousands of results (http://scholar.google.com/scholar?q...). In particular, one study appearing in these search results is entitled Epidemic influenza and vitamin D. It was published in 2006 in the journal Epidemiology and Infection (2006, 134:6:1129-1140 Cambridge University Press) and its abstract reads as follows:

In 1981, R. Edgar Hope-Simpson proposed that a 'seasonal stimulus' intimately associated with solar radiation explained the remarkable seasonality of epidemic influenza. Solar radiation triggers robust seasonal vitamin D production in the skin; vitamin D deficiency is common in the winter, and activated vitamin D, 1,25(OH)2D, a steroid hormone, has profound effects on human immunity. 1,25(OH)2D acts as an immune system modulator, preventing excessive expression of inflammatory cytokines and increasing the 'oxidative burst' potential of macrophages. Perhaps most importantly, it dramatically stimulates the expression of potent anti-microbial peptides, which exist in neutrophils, monocytes, natural killer cells, and in epithelial cells lining the respiratory tract where they play a major role in protecting the lung from infection. Volunteers inoculated with live attenuated influenza virus are more likely to develop fever and serological evidence of an immune response in the winter. Vitamin D deficiency predisposes children to respiratory infections. Ultraviolet radiation (either from artificial sources or from sunlight) reduces the incidence of viral respiratory infections, as does cod liver oil (which contains vitamin D). An interventional study showed that vitamin D reduces the incidence of respiratory infections in children. We conclude that vitamin D, or lack of it, may be Hope-Simpson's 'seasonal stimulus'.

Just this morning, at 1 AM, my husband couldn’t sleep, he went to the local Walmart to pick up a few things. As he walked in, a young black woman was being treated by EMS and she was laying on the floor holding her stomach and saying that she had just gotten the H1N1 vaccine yesterday.

Needless to say, alarm bells went off in his head.

...swabbing your nostrils with a Q tip dipped in warm salt water would also kill the bacteria.

I don't know about the salt but your mucous membranes are a first line of defense against ever present harmful microbes. A drying of your nose and throat will leave you more susceptible to those microbes. Heating in cold weather and air conditioning in hot will do the drying. Diuretics like alcohol and caffeine make you drier.

So far, 3900 deaths in the US from swine flu - in the last six months

Watching the local news in West Michigan, we've had more deaths reported due to automobile accidents caused by the driver involved (dropping on floor, texting, talking) with a cell phone than from H1N1 flu. I have yet to see a headline about a cell phone pandemic ;-)

I think it would be a great idea to have an H1N1 thread for blogs , personal stories , and what worked for someone who went through H1N1 . And any natural remedies etc..

Does anyone want to start the H1N1 blog etc... ?

I heard Vitamin D3 helps , pure cranberry juice , garlic , NAC , Castor Oil , drinking lemonade , elderberry ,Vitamin C and much more etc..

I saw a post where someone bought Star Of Anise at Whole Foods which Tamiflu is made from and it helped him not get it when his wife and daughter got it .

One article I posted a severe case at death’s door only survived by having an Vitamin C IV !

I just posted a story on the main swine flu thread that in the way I read the article there is 7 DIFFERENT Strains of H1N1 going around ...

That might be why the one doctor got the swine flu twice , and it was confirmed twice by a lab .

I felt I was coming down with a bad cold (maybe the flu) yesterday. I had a scratchy throat, tight chest, running nose and some chills. I took 10,000 unit of vitamin D-3, spaced out during the day plus 2 oz. of my home made elderberry elixir before bed. Today, all my symptoms are gone and I feel normal.

Something worked!

Here is the scary answer...

You’ll see it...It’s kinda buried...

And it is not “human” retina cells...The sourse are fetus cells...Apparently the robustness of the DNA and its ability to replicate that robustness in the vaccine is what they are shooting for...

Draw your conclusions...

Perhaps worthless, but...

From what I understand, the Spanish Flu (and by extension the new A-H1N1 variant) kills by provoking an immune system hyper-response, sometimes called the “Cytokine Storm” which severely damages the lungs and causes Acute Respiratory Distress (ARD) resulting in oxygen deprivation to the internal organs.

Here is an over the counter (OTC) formula that inhibits some of the major inflammatory mediators, and is now being suggested as a way to stave off ARD. All four factors must be included.

1a) A prescription ACE-2 inhibitor anti-hypertension drug. (Note: Healthy folks w/normal BP would experience a crash in BP, fainting, et al. Those already on other types of BP lowering meds would experience the same.) -or- 1b) If unavailable, 15,000 IU of Vitamin D* (Note: 15,000 IU is a huge dose of Vitamin D, a fat soluble vitamin. This means excess Vitamin D is stored in the liver, rather being excreted. The half life of Vitamin D is roughly three weeks, and Vitamin D toxicity can cause serious problems)

2) Histamine-1 blocker. Benedryl or the equivalent.

3) Histamine-2 blocker. Tagamet or the equivalent (normally used to block acid reflux.)

4) Ibuprofen. Advil or the equivalent, a prostaglandin blocker.

In addition, it is also recommended to maintain just the MDAR of Vitamin A. Being short of Vitamin A is associated with having an excess of a very powerful inflammatory mediator called TNF-1. But it is easy to take too much Vitamin A, which is toxic. High doses of the provitamin Beta-carotene, which the body converts to Vitamin A, might work as well as straight Vitamin A, and are much less toxic.

Care should be taken to avoid “health foods” that can artificially enhance the immune system, something to be avoided when there is the prospect of ARD.

This was extracted from an earlier thread I've lost track of, with some comments on Vitamin D from NautiNurse, and on ACE-2 inhibitors from reformedliberal added, and a flat out guess on Beta Carotene from me...

I found this at the Pandemic Flu Information I copied it & pasted it .

I made an elderberry tincture, according to a recipe that Hillbilly Bill provided, and have been taking it morning and evening (about 2 tbsp each time) since I started feeling the ticklings of a sore throat and chest thingie, both very mild. For the record, my symptoms have almost disappeared. Magical stuff, because once I start feeling something like that, in the past it has ALWAYS materialized. I think I’ve been staving off something for about a week this way.

The tincture recipe—not very exact:
1 lb dried organic elderberries
1 bottle vodka, 80 proof/40% alcohol
Put elderberries in vodka, in fridge (or very cool, dark place—I used the fridge) and let steep for 10-15 days.
Strain out liquid and save. Throw out elderberries.

Voila! Elderberry tincture. I keep mine in the fridge. When I take the tincture, I don’t really measure it very carefully, maybe take about half a shot morning and evening. I gargle with it before I swallow (yechh) to kill throat germs (that’s my theory anyway).

Gives you a nice warm burn in the am, even if the taste is crummy!

I already had it...took vit D at anti microbial levels for the summer and then then dosed up with D3 5000 ius 3 times a day along with advil, tagamet and benadryl for 3 to 4 days to keep the cytokine storm from brewing. I would have died otherwise...very over-reactive immune system, but I have read of documented cases in the spring getting this again. The human body doesn’t build up antobdies to this as well as to other more recent flu viri...probably why they were saying from the start that kids should be vaccinated twice against it. Also you shed the virus for much longer after you think you are over it. Many have had respiratory set backs in the 3rd week.

Also Freeper Domestic Church took the recipe below & it helped her with swineflu she sent me this info below

advil every 6 hours for the inflammation - I needed 2 to 3, definitely 3 when the headache and soft tissue neck & head swelling was going on...2 benadryl every 4 hours and 1 tagamet in AM and 1 at night...tagamet usually if for the stomach but it also is a specific histamine blocker and with the benadryl being a broad histamine blocker. You need all three together and push tons of fluids- lipton bottled green tea was great as it is a naturel diuretic removing all the cellular debris - which you need to do as it rapidly build up and makes you feel wretched...but you can get generic OTC meds & the green tea at walmart.

There shouldn’t be a problem, because they are involving two different things. The recipe is designed to settle down the immune system to keep it from overreacting, which can kill you.

Tamiflu and Relenza are both what are called neuraminidase inhibitors, that attack the virus directly. To explain:

In H1N1 Swine flu, the letter ‘H’ stands for hemagglutinin, and the letter ‘N’ stands for neuraminidase. Simply put, ‘H’ is how viruses penetrate human cells to get in, and ‘N’ is how the now millions of reproduced viruses punch their way out again, having used the cell to make more copies of themselves to infect other cells.

If the virus can’t get in, or can’t get out, it dies. So what Tamiflu and Relenza do is keep the viruses from leaving the infected cells. When the cell dies, it is detected as dead, policed up and dissolved along with the viruses still inside.

This is why cranberry juice is also so useful. It works on the other side of the equation, by making cells too “slippery” for viruses to adhere to with their ‘H’. But you need to drink a LOT of pure juice.

And this is also where ionic zinc (from Cold-Eeze lozenges) comes into play. Once viruses have used their ‘H’ to enter the cell, zinc interferes with their reproduction inside the cell.

So using cranberry juice, zinc, and Tamiflu and/or Relenza, is a one-two-three punch directly at the virus.

The recipe, while oriented to toning down the immune system, to keep if from running wild, also has an anti-viral effect in a different way, because of the Vitamin D3. Vitamin D breaks down into the body to attack viruses in several different ways. The first is that is decomposes into a weak acid that corrodes the surface of the viruses, which can kill it. It also activates the type of immune cells that destroy viruses, and it opens pathways for them to use in the body.

As part of the recipe, it tones down ACE, which is a histamine like substance, too much of which can cause high blood pressure, and is a major part of the cytokine storm. Prescription ACE inhibitors are prescribed for high blood pressure, but Vitamin D is a natural ACE inhibitor.

Re: Home Swine Flu kits needed, beyond the masks, sanitizers, antibacterial wipes and disinfectant sprays, we have included in our home H1N1 flu kit:
(Generic brands exist for most items at Wal-Mart.)

Tussin
Mucinex
Benadryl (diphenhydramine)
Tylenol(acetometophen)
Zinc/Vitamin C losenges
Tagamet
Ibuprophen
Oscillococcinum (about $10-11 for six doses, helps reduce flu symptoms)
Powerade or G2 (must include electrolytes that normal Gatorade and other hydration drinks do not have)
Diet or regular lemon/lime sodas (for hydration)

Ibuprophen and Acetametaphen are meant to be taken every 4 hours. Rather than max out your dosage every four hours, the two can be alternated every two hours at half dosage, i.e. take half dosage of acetametaphen at 8am, half dosage of ibuprophen at 10am, acetametaphine at 12noon, ibuprophen at 2pm....etc., that way you’re getting a new round of pain killer and anti-inflammatory every two hours rather than peaking and troughing every four hours.

Zithromax Also known as azithromycin works best for the h1n1/swine flu according to this study

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/01/090108171636.htm

More Effective Treatment For Pneumonia Following Influenza Found, Study Shows
ScienceDaily (Jan. 10, 2009) — Scientists at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have demonstrated a more effective treatment for bacterial pneumonia following influenza. They found that the antibiotics clindamycin and azithromycin, which kill bacteria by inhibiting their protein synthesis, are more effective than a standard first-line treatment with the “beta-lactam” antibiotic ampicillin, which causes the bacteria to lyse, or burst.

The finding is important because pneumonia, rather than the influenza itself, is a principal cause of death from influenza in children and the elderly. During pandemics—such as the one that may arise from avian influenza—up to 95 percent of influenza deaths are due to pneumonia. A bioterrorism attack using the influenza virus would likely result in the same high percentage of pneumonia deaths, according to the researchers.

The group, led by Jonathan McCullers, M.D., associate member of the St. Jude Infectious Diseases department, expect the new findings, currently demonstrated in mice, to be incorporated into standard clinical practice guidelines during the next few years.

McCullers and his colleagues published their findings in the advanced, online issue of the Journal of Infectious Diseases. The researchers based the new treatment on growing evidence that beta-lactams are relatively ineffective against secondary pneumonia because the drugs exacerbate inflammation caused by influenza.

“With severe secondary pneumonia, it has seemed that physicians do almost everything they can, and it doesn’t work,” McCullers said. “People still die despite treatment with antibiotics that can kill the bacteria. Our research is showing that the intense inflammatory response that is already there from the virus is amplified by the bacterial infection. And, treatment with beta-lactams releases bacterial components into the bloodstream that the immune system recognizes, triggering an inflammatory burst that can be deadly.

“Traditional first-line therapy has been based on the belief that the bacteria are bad, so we have to get rid of them as quickly as possible,” McCullers said. “But what we are finding is that maybe it is the inflammation we need to worry about first, and the bacteria second. Protein synthesis inhibitors shut down the bacterial protein-making factory, and they can avoid the inflammatory burst by killing them over days instead of quickly lysing them.”

In their experiments, the St. Jude researchers infected mice with a mild form of influenza that restricted itself to the lungs. After a week, the scientists infected the mice with pneumonia bacteria. This sequence mimics how humans with influenza would contract secondary pneumonia.

The researchers treated groups of the doubly infected mice with ampicillin, clindamycin, combined clindamycin and ampicillin, or azithromycin. They found that 56 percent of the mice survived with ampicillin treatment, 82 percent survived with clindamycin, 80 percent with clindamycin and ampicillin, and 92 percent with azithromycin. Significantly, while clindamycin and azithromycin both inhibit protein synthesis, azithromycin also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Ampicillin aggravated inflammation compared to clindamycin, the researchers confirmed in test tube studies. The investigators also found evidence of increased inflammation in lung cells of ampicillin-treated animals.

According to McCullers, lung tissue studies of ampicillin-treated animals also revealed the antibiotic’s deleterious effects.

“We saw in those animals that, even though we were clearing their lungs of bacteria, the lungs looked just like those of animals in which the bacteria were continuing to multiply,” McCullers said. “The damage process was continuing.”

McCullers said he would like the new findings to influence treatment guidelines immediately for pneumonia secondary to influenza.

“The current guidelines still adhere to the theory that beta-lactams are the only drugs of choice, because it is necessary to kill the bacteria as fast as possible,” he said. “However, our findings represent the first data showing that inflammation is important, and that alternative therapies such as protein synthesis inhibitors should be considered and incorporated into revised guidelines.”

More broadly, McCullers said, the new findings support a growing body of evidence that treating severe pneumonia in general should take into account the inflammatory response and not just the rapid demise of bacteria.

Other authors of this paper include Åsa Karlström and Kelli Boyd (St. Jude); and B. Keith English (Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center). This research was supported in part by the U.S. Public Health Service and ALSAC.

Dr. Kenneth Alibek defected from USSR in the early 1990’s I think it was. I read some years ago that Dr. Alibk had said the worst of all bio-weapons is a combination of anthrax and smallpox. Look at where he is now:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/16535529/Bio-Terrorism-and-Infectious-Agents-A-New-Dilemma-for-the-21st-Century

###

Garlic and Other Natural Anti-Anthrax Weapons

Colleagues Have Circulated the Following Natural Preventives and Treatments for Anthrax and other Bio/Chemical Threats

NATURAL RESCUE REMEDIES (for anthrax, nerve gas, etc.)

Since anthrax is the most feared toxin it will be addressed first. The Garlic Information Center in Britain indicates that deadly anthrax is most susceptible to garlic. Garlic is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that even blocks toxin production by germs. [Journal Nutrition, March 2001]

Before vaccines were developed against polio, garlic was used successfully as a prophylactic. In one test garlic was found to be a more potent antibiotic than penicillin, ampicillin, doxycycline, streptomycin and cephalexin, some of the very same antibiotic drugs used in the treatment of anthrax. Garlic was found to be effective against nine strains of E.coli, Staph and other bugs. [Fitoterapia, Volume 5, 1984]

Freshly cut cloves of garlic or garlic powder may be beneficial. The antibiotic activity of one milligram of allicin, the active ingredient in garlic, equals 15 units of penicillin. [Koch and Lawson, Garlic: The Science and Therapeutic Application, 2nd edition, Williams & Wilkins, Baltimore 1996]

Garlic capsules that certify their allicin content are preferred and may provide 5-10 milligrams of allicin, which is equivalent to 75-150 units of penicillin. The anthrax bacterium’s toxicity emanates from its ability to kill macrophage cells which are part of the immune system.

Studies have shown that sulfur-bearing antioxidants (alpha lipoic acid, N-acetylcysteine, taurine) and vitamin C, which elevate levels of glutathione, a natural antioxidant within the body, counters the toxicity produced by anthrax. [Molecular Medicine, November 1994; Immunopharmacology, January 2000; Applied Environmental Microbiology, May 1979]

The above sulfur compounds can be obtained from health food stores and taken in doses ranging from 100-500 mg.

Vitamin C should be the buffered alkaline form (mineral ascorbates) rathert han the acidic form (ascorbic acid) and should be combined with bioflavonoids which prolong vitamin C’s action in the blood circulation. The powdered form of vitamin C is recommended to achieve optimal dosing. A tablespoon of vitamin C powder (about 10,000 mgs) can be added to juice. Good products are Twinlab’s Super Ascorbate C powder and Alacer’s powdered vitamin C.

A great sulfur Is MSM. I have used it for taking out swelling and pain almost instantly from everything from oral surgery to bee stings, spider bites (it seems to neutralize the venom) to poison oak/ivy, to chicken pox, herpes cold sores, and in lotion for burns, skin conditions. It enhances vitamins and escorts toxins out of the body. I took it in small amounts at first, like a pinch of salt, and now take one pill or capsule a day. The reason for this is that if it starts taking too much of the toxins out at a time it can make your heart beat fast or possibly have a reaction which some people call allergic. For me, a little is best. (You can call Rich Distributing for MSM at great prices, toll free: 877-245-5742 for healing products in Oregon).

Melatonin, a sleep-inducing hormone available at most health food stores, has been shown to help prevent lethal toxins from anthrax exposure. [Cell Biology Toxicology, Volume 16, 2000]. It could be taken at bedtime in doses ranging from 5-20 mg. Melatonin boosts glutathione levels during sleep.

Of additional interest, one of the methods by which mustard gas works is its ability to bring about cell death by depleting cell levels of glutathione. [Medicine Journal, April 9, 2001] So glutathione is also an antidote for mustard gas poisoning.

Virtually all bacteria, viruses and fungi depend upon iron as a growth factor. [Iron & Your Health, T.F. Emery, CRC Press, 1991] Iron-chelating (removing) drugs and antibiotics (Adriamycin, Vancomycin, others) are effective against pathogens. The plague (Yersinia pestis), botulism, smallpox and anthrax could all be potentially treated with non-prescription metal-binding chelators. For example, iron removal retards the growth of the plague. [Medical Hypotheses, January 1998] The biological activity of the botulinum toxin depends upon iron, and metal chelators may be beneficial [Infection Immunology, October 1989, Toxicon, July, 1997].

Phytic acid (IP6), derived as an extract from rice bran, is the most potent natural iron chelator and has strong antibiotic and antioxidant action. [Free Radical Biology Medicine, Volume 8, 1990; Journal Biological Chemistry, August 25, 1987] IP6 has been found to have similar iron-chelating properties as desferrioxamine, a drug commonly used to kill germs, tumor cells or to remove undesirable minerals from the body. [Biochemistry Journal, September 15, 199! 3] IP6 rice bran extract (2000-4000 mg) should be taken in between meals with filtered or bottled water only (no juice).

The antibacterial, antiseptic action of plant oils has been described in recent medical literature and may be helpful in fighting biological toxins. [Journal Applied Microbiology, Volume 88, 2000] A potent natural antibiotic, more powerful than many prescription antibiotics, is oil of oregano. One study showed that oregano completely inhibited the growth of 25 germs such as Staphylococcus aureas, Escherichia coli, Yersinia enterocolitica and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. [Journal Food Protection, July 2001] Oregano has been shown to be effective in eradicating intestinal parasites in humans. [Phytotherapy Research, May 2001] Wild oregano, which is quite different from the variety on most kitchen spice racks, has over 50 antibacterial compounds. Just one part wild oregano oil in 4000 dilution sterilizes contaminated water. [London Times, May 8, 2001]

Oregano powder from whole leaf oregano is available as OregamaxTM capsules (North American Herb & Spice Co.). A spectacular development in natural antibiotic therapy is the manufacture of oregano powder from 100% pure oregano oil, producing one of the most potent antibiotics known. It has recently become available under the trade name OregacinTM (North American Herb & Spice Co.). It costs about $1 per pill, but this is a far cry from the $16 per pill for Vancomycin, known as most potent prescription antibiotic.

Oregano oil can also kill toenail fungus and allows nails to grow back in normally and release that awful foot smell and yellow thick skin.

Nature also provides nerve gas antitoxins. Nerve gas interrupts the normal transmission of nerve impulses by altering levels of acetycholinesterase, the enzyme that degrades the nerve transmitter acetycholine. Huper zine A, a derivative of Chinese club moss, has been suggested as a pre-treatment against nerve gases. [Annals Pharmacology France, January 2001] The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research conducted studies which revealed that Huperzine A protects against nerve gas poisoning in a superior manner to physostigmine, a long-standing anti-nerve toxin.drug. [Defense Technical Information Center Review, Volume 2, December 1996] Huperzine A is available as a food supplement at most health food stores. Suggested dosage is 150 mcg per day. Pretreatment is advised prior to nerve gas exposure.

Summary

The threat of biological warfare is real and concern over preparedness of the civilian population and medical professionals is growing. There is virtually no practical way that vaccines, antibiotics or other treatment can be delivered to a frightened populace in a timely manner during a crisis. The current strategy of having an unprotected citizenry travel to physicians’ offices or hospitals to receive prophylactic care or treatment is unfeasible.

The public must be armed with preventive or therapeutic agents in their vehicles, homes and the workplace. Natural antibiotics and antitoxins are well documented in the medical literature, but overlooked by health authorities. These antidotes are readily available for the public to acquire and place in an emergency biological response kit.

Dr. Kenneth Alibek defected from USSR in the early 1990’s I think it was. I read some years ago that Dr. Alibk had said the worst of all bio-weapons is a combination of anthrax and smallpox.
