Well, I just think that if the intention was to “impress” the media or the legislators, it would only have worked if their seats were actually at risk. But since there are enough Dems that Pelosi can “allow” several to be “released” as concealment, these things have little impact.
We don’t use common language here. We’re in this fight to the end of this health care bill. We must stick together, but with decency and toughness. Scuse me.
And in Texas we have just the Gov to do it too. He’s already spoken the word. I’ve read if we go, so does LA and OK.
Put it in one of their own envelopes and make them pay the postage.
We agree on that. But, as you know, I’ve been saying since last March that we’re past the point emails, calls, faxes...and even traveling to D.C. to stand on the lawn and patronize the merchants.

I think simpler is better myself. Maybe the big plastic signs they use in presidential campaigns that read "STOP THE GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER OF YOUR HEALTHCARE".
Just an idea to start with, would love to see other ideas, Free Repubic's some of the best talent out there.

Yes, he's spoken the word, but Governor Goodhair doesn't have all that stiff of a spine. From what I've seen, he's as liable to drift with one current, as another. The current with the tea parties just happened to be running very strong when he made the statements about secession and so-forth.
I really can't say where he'd stand if the SHTF.
Bill Owens campaigned on this; he was always for health care...no Scozzafava would not have voted for health care as she is a fiscal conservative. The reality is had the election proceeded without Hoffman and all the drama, health care might have been stopped...impossible to tell because some of the Dems who voted against it were allowed to after getting enough votes to pass it...sad day.
It got held up some with two world wars and a depression.the people had seen what had happened in Europe with Stalin and Hitler and where more alert .
They also had better morals, believed in God and the fact that we were founded a Christian nation.
Unfortunately some learned the power of propaganda and had seen how easy it was to take over a country even one based on freedom with a little patience and perseverance.
The main things in the way where the Constitution and the people's belief that their rights and moral guidance came from God and man's/ government could not be trusted.
This had to be changed.These were the areas that were attacked. We were told God was dead and His teachings intolerant. We were told our Constitution was just an old outdated document and that we should allow our government to take care of us and place our hope and trust in them and not worry about it, after all we were all Americans.
Most of us did and still do.

the only thing I see is to return to God, pray for our country, seek forgiveness,quit accepting the propaganda of the lesser of two evils. We have to try to break the strangle hold these two parties republicrats have on our elected officials and the strangle hold that the bankers, wall street,oil,insurance,pharmaceutical,etc. companies have on them.

I would also like to see some viral marketing of a simple, easy to read adn digest synopsis of the bribes that were paid by the stimulus money and MoveOn.org to AMA, AARP, pharmaceutical companies, others...
This needs to be in front of the CNN and NPR watchers as they’re the ones we need to go after. The Glen Beck and Rush crowd is already convinced.
